“Very nice property. A bit more on expensive side compared to similar properties nearby- and food choices are not as great for a resort of this stature; but definitely five star experience- lives up to Taj name. If any thing, I would suggest them to consider a better culinary experience by including local or east indian exotic dishes (that’s hard to find in traditional restaurants). Folks come from distance to that location - not to experience the same food they eat in their homes! ”

“Overall, the stay was very nice. We had a detached 1-storey cabin facing the beach. The cabin was beautiful, and standards were high. Nothing bad to say about the room. There was a long pathway leading to the private beach, which was very nice, with reclining seats with roofs. Not possible to swim there, but amazing mangroves and corals on the beach. Food was good, but expensive.
Our con on this stay was three things:

We stayed in two types of rooms we found both to be of a good standard.
Eg: comfortable beds, clean well maintained bathrooms and good AC/Fans.
The rooftop restaurant /Bar is a nice place to eat dinner or enjoy a cocktail overlooking Port Blair, once again we found the level of service excellent.
Probably the best accommodation we have found on this...

We found the BL to be a modern well run hotel and a good central location.
We stayed in two types of rooms we found both to be of a good standard.
Eg: comfortable beds, clean well maintained bathrooms and good AC/Fans.

“It is an average resort. The water quality is not so good. They do not serve bottled water. The pool has a very high level of chlorine. Also, they don't accept cards, and they will take money cash for a lot of stuff, not giving a bill saying that the computer is down. So please insist for a bill everytime. If you get this resort around 5-6k, its good, else don't go for it. Also, the breakfast quality is pretty low for such a resort. Overall a decent resort, if you get in a range of around 5-6k,...

Nothing that I asked for was refused and they were concerned about my plans for daytime activities. The hotel though not near the centre is not too far away that you can’t walk to the bazaar. Transportation can be accommodated if you either want to talk tours or drive yourself by car or motor scooter. ”
