  • This house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all Beautifully decorated. Outdoor seating on private deck with charcoal grill. Bring your kayaks, jet skis and fishing equipment as this property is located , adjacent to a free state boat launch giving access to the Portage River. Ample parking for your boat and free use of the fish cleaning facilities at White Caps Motel. We are conveniently located and have a lot to offer non fishermen. We are located just minutes from downtown Port Clinton, and dining and shopping. We are also just a couple of minutes down the street from Marinas, and the Jet Express ferry to Put in Bay

A Little Lake Get Away

It was a lovely home! Close to so much. Lots to do is a close area. We took our golden retriever with us. He enjoyed morning walks on the path behind the house. It was perfect!

Not what it looks like in pictures

I was at this property with my wife, 2 adult kids and a 10 pound dog for 4 nights. This property is not what it looks like in pictures. There were cob webs on the outside and, in some spots, inside the property. I was told that these were cotton wood but it looked like that the cotton wood was trapped in the spider webs. The entrance was through what appeared to be a storage and had broken windows with one window boarded up with duck tape. The property smelled of pet pee and we had to put in plug in and spray fresheners to make it habitable for us. The property also had ants, and mouse droppings. We put in liquid ant traps in the kitchen sink area to handle the ant problem. I brought these issues up with the property manager and was told that the ants were because of a new fence that was being installed. The property manager was nice to refund one day's rent because of the issues. I would not have booked this property at any price if I was aware of the issues.

I think they did an awesome job on remodeling the house, there is plenty of room for six adult males for a bed of their own. For the most part the house is well equipped with everything you need.

I would stay again.

A few glitches some things weren’t clean. there was a Band-Aid stuck to the wall. Unable to use outside amenities where we were to have a campfire and horseshoe pit due to unkempt conditions . A few collapsed buildings and abandoned boat might be a problem for some. There was food in one of the fold out couches. However I don’t think anything that happened could not be corrected. The mattress out on the enclosed porch was something that needed to be corrected. More communication from host would be helpful. Trash not picked up daily could be a problem for some. Overall not a bad stay

Everything was perfect and very quiet

We all really enjoyed staying there and we will do it again. No one bothered us and it was so quiet and we wish we could have stayed longer
