Sunset House: rustico Maine Cottage arroccato sopra il villaggio di pescatori con vista sul porto

Sunset House sale a una bella altezza per osservare le persone che camminano e canticchiare Port Clyde Harbour.   Dal suo ponte per la cena rivolto a sud-ovest, lo chef di casa può divertirsi a cucinare una tempesta di cibi e pesci locali da una cucina che presenta un'atmosfera da vecchio cottage e un grande tavolo per gli ospiti a unirsi al cameratismo delle amicizie estive.
La camera da letto matrimoniale e la camera a due letti in tutta la hall.  Un modesto prato ombreggiato per godersi le fresche brezze oceaniche.  Sole pieno tutto il giorno sul ponte di fronte all'oceano. Una stufa a legna Franklin nel soggiorno per freschi raduni serali.  Informale e divertente, Sunset House sarà nella tua memoria mesi dopo.  Molti tornano anno dopo anno qui.   TV, wi-fi, telefono fisso.  Porta le tue bici, ti piacerà guidare o camminare lungo la strada tortuosa lungo la riva dove questo luogo estivo offre la pace, la tranquillità e la bellezza che la tua anima desidera ardentemente per rinfrescarsi.

Loved the layout of the house with the living space on the 2nd floor. The deck is fantastic, so is the fire pit area. Did a lot of walking - to the village, to Marshall Point and Drift Inn Beach. For hiking, I drove to Clark Island Preserve (gorgeous!!!), Beech Hill Preserve and Riverview Hayfields Preserve. Overall, my stay was outstanding!

Beautiful home with a good view of the harbor. Well appointed and very clean. Walls framed but not closed or insulated so it got a little chilly; there’s a wood burning stove on one level. Not much happening in the harbor. Lovely outdoor deck. Comfy for 4 people. Communication with host was excellent. Would recommend!

Beautiful location

We loved staying in Sunset House. The upstairs living space with a well appointed kitchen and spacious porch was so enjoyable. There are a few steps to enter the house and stairs to get from the first floor bedroom space to the second floor living space. It was a wonderful week there that we hope we will be able to return to next year.

Beautiful location and very relaxing. Close to the tiny fishing town with a few amenities. Easy drive to the larger towns for all other needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summer vaca at the Sunset house

We enjoyed our time here. It was comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The conveniences were nice too; dishwasher, washer/ dryer, good amount of fans and a full working kitchen for cooking.

Annual Maine trip

We’ve stayed in Port Clyde for several years now for our week vacation and this was the first time in this property. It has a lovely living space. The kitchen is amazing and well equipped. The deck has wonderful view. The master bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The second bedroom is good for 2 children, but not enough space for two adults in our opinion. Despite that, we would return to this property.

Wonderful stay in Port Clyde

The Sunset House lived up to its name. Beautiful views of the harbor and islands and well maintained. We have stayed at numerous properties through VRBO and this was probably the best equipped of any. Kitchen was very well stocked with quality products and any implement needed. Location was perfect and convenient to local attractions and provisions. Thorough and prompt communication with Veronika the manager. We'll be back!

Lovely spacious retreat

This property is an ideal, spacious seaside cottage with views from almost every room. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and the whole house has a cozy vibe to it. We enjoyed board games, reading and most of all, hanging out on the upper deck - spectacular sunsets! The location is excellent; just a short walk down to the docks and village center. We found our stay here comfortable and relaxing - just great in every way! We would like to come back next year!

Perfect family trip!

The Sunset house was the perfect place to spend our summer vacation. The views are stunning, the house was stocked as well as any rental I’ve seen, especially the kitchen. We appreciated all the little touches and the perfect balance of rustic and modern. Would highly recommend. Port Clyde is very quaint. The ice cream parlor was a nightly stop and the General Store has everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. View of water was great. Unfortunately the week we stayed it was very foggy. House was very clean and well kept. Neat items (baskets, pots, pictures, books) through out the house. We liked the 2 living room areas. Great place to stay.
