    You’ll be staying in a charming village located at the confluence of the Adour and the Gaves Réunis, in the heart of a rural region steeped in a thousand years of history: The Pays d’Orthe (medieval abbeys of Sordes and Arthous, the Way of St. James, and the famous market in Peyrehorade dating back to the Middle Ages)
    The village has a health center and a bakery. Supermarkets and shops are 6 km away.
    Within 200 m: tennis courts and a boules court, a city park, and a Basque pelota court.
    Opportunities for river fishing in the small harbor, walking along hiking trails, and along the Scandibérique (a greenway stretching from Norway to <br>in Spain).

    A beautiful, recently renovated apartment featuring, on the first floor, a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, and a very large living room. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, along with a separate bathroom and a toilet.

    The owner lives on-site.
    The village is located 25 minutes from the Dax TGV station and 30 minutes from the Biarritz airport.

Les hôtes sont des personnes très accueillantes et le logement parfait . Les chambres sont éloignées l'une de l'autre , c'est parfait pour le sommeil de chacun .

Tres bien accueillis. En ce qui concerne l’équipement de la maison est tres conforyable (tout y est) et même des Brochures touristiques . Très calme et reposant et excellente literie. Propriétaire très agreable et sympathique.

Perfekte Gastgeber

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Michel und Marylene haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren zur Stelle, wenn wir einen Rat gebraucht haben. Die Ferienhaus ist sehr groß, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Durch die zwei Bäder im Haus ist die Unterkunft perfekt, auch für zwei Paare. Der abgeschlossene Hof mit der wunderschönen Laube war für uns ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge ans Meer, in die Berge. Die Städte Biarritz, Saint Jean de Luz oder San Sebastian waren tolle Ausflugsziele, sogar Bilbao ist problemlos erreichbar. Vielen Dank Michel und Marylene

Calme et proximité

Le logement est propre, bien entretenu. Toutes les commodités sont présentes : 2 chambres, éloignées lune de l'autre avec chacune sa salle de bain et toilettes ; grand salon, cuisine fonctionelle avec table pour manger, équipement de la cuisine entretenu. L'extérieur est tout aussi fonctionnel : cour fermée, espace pelouse, transat, table et chaises pour manger, coin repos avec petite table, ideal pour l'apéritif!. Le logement est bien situé : au calme entre montagne et océan mais sans l'afflux touristique. Les propriétaires sont de bons conseils et accueillants. En conclusion: nous recommandons a 200%.

The perfect apartment for us

As a family of four, we have rented many different apartments in different countries. This one must be among the best, if not THE best. It's spacious, clean, quiet, and beautiful. It's well-equipped: washing machine (very important for us), dish washer, lots of tools to fight mosquitos, a Weber kettle grill (used it twice), WiFi of course, a well-stocked kitchen, even a ping pong table with rackets (which we didn't use, though). We always ate outside, no problem when it's hot, as there is a roof. The living room on the ground floor will remain cool if you keep the doors closed, even at 40°C outside (which we had at times), great to relax. The top floor will naturally get warmer, though. Our car was parked on the premises behind the gate. There's a public basketball court nearby that our kids went to in the evenings. Port-de-Lanne is a quiet small town, perfectly located for all kinds of excursions. The closest beaches are about a 35mins drive away, Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz (must-see!) 45mins, San Sebastián in Spain about 70mins. We also rented bikes, canoes, and surfboards, went to a high ropes forest, hiked the area, experienced the weekly market and the street festival in Peyrehorade with fireworks, and much more. Finally, I cannot overstate how nice Michel and his wife were to us! Even before our arrival, the communication was prompt and friendly. We speak some French but they will also speak English with you if that's easier. Thank you for the great memories!

Séjour très agréable et reposant

Nous avons été ravis de passer une semaine dans la maison de Michel et Marylène qui sont des hôtes très serviable et de bons conseils. La maison a l’avantage d’être au calme et à proximité des grandes villes . Elle est très propre, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. Nous recommandons fortement. Merci à eux

Muy buena experiencia

Muy buena experiencia la que hemos tenido. Los dueños de la casa viven justo al lado, han sido muy atentos con nosotros en toda la estancia, permitiéndonos pasar unos días muy agradables. La situación de la vivienda es en una población muy tranquila, pero muy bien situada para conocer la región.

Vacances au calme

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Nous avons apprécié la location qui était adaptée pour une famille de 5. La proximité d'un city stade et du fronton a été apprécié par les enfants pour la fin de journée. Location idéale pour profiter de la terre et de la mer, des landes et du pays basque .
