“Such a cool and unique historic hotel in downtown Port Townsend. We like the hotel so much we extended our stay. Great location across the street from waterfront and public square where musicians played mid-day. Rooms are beautiful, hotel is so fun to walk around and explore the community spaces. Enjoyed the complementary local newspaper in the morning with coffee from "better living through coffee" across the street. We want to come back to Port Townsend and stay here again!”

“This place is amazing. We had a very spacious suite with comfortable beds. There is a small library down the hall which everyone enjoyed. Very awesome place in walking distance to the water, pier, restaurants and shopping. The only thing we had trouble with was getting our luggage (approx 50 pounds) up the steps. “We stayed in cabin 3 which was sweetly decorated with an electric fireplace. Staff promptly swapped our malfunctioning coffee machine for a new one. Delicious coffee! Small frig for keeping our leftovers and beverages. Bathroom door squeaked and the bathroom walls were about 7 feet high and not to the ceiling, which was unique. Guests have free access to the gym around the corner: it’s very well equipped, plus they have showers, a jacuzzi and a sauna. Overall a relaxing experience. ”

“This was a unique opportunity to stay in a castle. There are a lot of stairs. However, Amber, at the front desk made the whole stay wonderful. The only complain is probably the bed is kind of aged and too soft such that we all felt a little bit shoulder pain after waked up in the morning. “There was a bit of a fiasco with the reservation, not the motel's fault at all though. And when they couldn't find me they were about to give me a complimentary room until it got settled! Fortunately, it all got straightened out and I was able to go to my room. They were patient and friendly through the whole experience and gave me a bottled water.
