“We had a great stay at Highlands Campground in New Glasgow, PEI. The facilities were spotless, thanks to hardworking staff. The cabin was clean, spacious, and simple, with bunk beds and a queen bed. You bring your own dishes and small appliances, which worked fine for us. The campground has a saltwater pool and is popular with young families in peak season, but during our off-season visit it was peaceful and quiet. “This was unexpectedly a great place to spend a few days. We booked at the very last minute as a previous host was a scammer and stood us up the night before we were due. It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. We were surprised it was available the day before we showed up. It shouldn;t have been! It's a great place to spend a few days .....”
