“The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. My favorite part was that there were no smells at all in the room, which I loved!The lodge is located in a tiny, quiet town that I would describe as a micro-country town. “Stayed there for four nights. Never got house cleaning, hot tub was cold, overall poor experience.”

“The gym was spacious and had lots of light. I didn’t use the bikes since I had a short stay but I like the option. The complimentary wine was a nice touch and breakfast was better than average. Did not like that ~45% of my bill was taxes and fees, including a $20 parking fee and $18 tourism fee. The hotel was good, though not exceptional. Staff were fine, neither unfriendly nor friendly, nothing outstanding as far as customer service.”

“The room was a bit tired looking and smelled heavily of Febreze. There was an okay little kitchenette but you have to pay to have any utensils. Refrigerator was useful, though. On the whole, the property needs a bit of TLC.”
