Elegante appartamento con una camera da letto nel quartiere delle arti di Portland

Questo appartamento con una camera da letto per 4 persone splendidamente arredato si trova al primo piano di un edificio storico del 1880. Completamente rinnovato, ma il fascino degli originali pavimenti in legno e ampia cucina e soggiorno.
La cucina è stata ristrutturata con elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e pavimento piastrellato. Il bagno ha il pavimento piastrellato e una nuovissima doccia piastrellata. Wi-fi e televisione via cavo. C'è un incantevole spazio esterno con area salotto per rilassarsi e godersi un bicchiere di vino o una tazza di caffè.
Siamo situati a pochi minuti dal Portland Art Museum, da numerosi ristoranti di ogni tipo, dai musei, da molti meravigliosi locali di musica e dal centro di Congress Street. Siamo a pochi passi da Hadlock Field, sede dei Portland SeaDogs,
 e l'Old Port District, noto per i suoi negozi e ristoranti di lusso. Siamo a 5 minuti a piedi da Deering Oaks Park, dove ogni sabato si svolge un favoloso Farmer's Market. Siamo anche vicini a Casco Bay Lines, dove sono disponibili i traghetti per le isole! Vicino alle spiagge della zona, Portland International Jetport, Concord Trailways e Amtrak Downeaster.

What a wonderful little spot!

Sue and Barry were so accommodating, we have never been treated so well staying at a VRBO. They showed us local spots, told us great places for food and drinks, extremely kind and knowledgeable of the area. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Good Location

Hosts were very gracious. Lodging was clean and well stocked for everyday needs. Nice having your own parking spot close by. Easy access to freeways. 20 minute walk to town thru grand old houses. Make sure you take the Lighthouse Tour at the port.

Fabulous Find in Portland!

My husband & I stayed at Sue & Barry’s place for five nights. They were so friendly & welcoming, & their place was perfect! Very clean & super well appointed. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

Perfect location

Great location

Sue met us when we checked in, got us acquainted with the apartment, and showed us a map of Portland so we knew where we were in relation to restaurants etc. The apartment was great for a long weekend stay in Portland. It is in walking distance to many restaurants, and other sights. We would stay there again!

Stay here!

We loved staying at this property. Two friends exploring Portland. It was the perfect size space. Sue met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the apartment and then oriented us to the city. She was friendly and kind. We could text and ask questions as needed. The queen bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. Spacious closets, coffee and air conditioned. We would stay here again in a minute. The location is perfect for the city. We always felt safe and walked everywhere.

Sweet and Historical

Sue and Barry were great hosts. We had forgotten how nice it is when the Vrbo owners are local. Unit was spotless, plenty of room, well equipped, and great location to walk downtown. We loved the original floors.

Great location

Sue greeted us when we arrived, gave us a tour and sat down with us to make recommendations of things to do and where to try our first lobster roll. I would stay here again, it’s spacious, quiet and comfortable with all the luxuries of home. The location was perfect for everything we did and having a designated parking space was nice.

We loved our stay at this adorable place! The hosts, Sue & Barry, were absolutely amazing. They gave us so many recommendations of places to see, things to do, yummy restaurants to visit, etc. while in Portland. Wonderful stay in Portland

Best Place in Portland

Sue and Barry's place on Avon is amazing. It includes parking, in a walkable area in proximity to restaurants, breweries and shops. Sue and Barry are excellent hosts. When we arrived, Sue and Barry gave us recommendations and treats! Truly wonderful hosts that care about their guests. The apartment is clean, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is roomy and the living room is delightful. A great place to stay if you're going to be in Portland and want to access all of what Portland has to offer.

Amazing apartment and hosts!

This lovely apartment in a 19th century home was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and spacious. It was located perfectly for walking to the Old Port area of Portland. Sue and Barry, the hosts, were so welcoming and attentive. We highly recommend this place and the hosts!

Great hosts and location

We had a great stay for a long weekend in Portland. Sue and Barry are perfect hosts. They are communicative, and very helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is on a picturesque street and very quiet. The location was perfect for walking around and exploring Portland. We were able to do most things by foot. I highly recommend staying at this apartment.

My husbands birthday getaway!

We had an amazing time exploring Portland! Our hosts were amazing and attentive. They greeted us at check in with fresh flowers and suggestions on places to visit! The house was clean and located perfectly where we could walk around the city. The neighborhood was quiet. We felt safe walking at night. We had a short stay in Portland but we packed in as much as we could. Breakfast at Bayside American Cafe is a MUST! The best Eggs Benedict and Bloody Mary I’ve ever had! We stopped in at Taco Escobarr for happy hour and it was a blast! The strawberry jalapeño infused margarita was 👌 again, the best I’ve had! Then had dinner at High Roller. All fantastic!

Cozy and convenient

The roomy 1-bedroom apartment in a great location met all of our needs. Sue greeted us upon arrival and provided lots of information about Portland that helped us structure our trip and make optimal use of our 2.5 days there. The apartment was very clean and had all the “extras” that made it feel like home. Parking was convenient (we had our own space across the street) and although having a car was great for out of town trips, the neighborhood was walkable and conveniently located to a variety of activities. We would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to travel to Portland in the future.
