Bella casa in stile cottage costiero del Maine a Cape Elizabeth con una pianta aperta e luminosa. La nostra casa si trova in un tranquillo quartiere residenziale familiare e confina con diversi acri di sentieri boschivi verdi. Siamo vicino alla Spurwink Marsh e River, casa della riserva naturale di Rachel Carson e siamo solo a 2 5 a 6 miglia da alcune delle più belle spiagge del Maine. La vibrante cittadina di Portland si trova a 6 miglia da casa nostra. Vieni e goditi i suoi numerosi ristoranti, micro birre e attrazioni!

La nostra casa è una casa in stile cottage del Maine e dispone di 4 più una camera da letto: la master suite ha un letto king size california con bagno privato completo. Camera da letto # 2 ha un letto di memoria regina (comodo!) insieme a una scrivania e un divano. La camera da letto # 3 ha un letto fisso a grandezza naturale con sedia seduta. La camera da letto # 4 ha un bellissimo letto matrimoniale con sedute. La camera da letto più # 5 è quella che chiamiamo la stanza della barca. Questa è la stanza bonus di 700 piedi quadrati. Ha due letti di barca di dimensioni complete splendidamente lavorate, grande schermo TV e un tavolino con sedie. Le pareti sono rivestite con libri di libri costruiti con libri per bambini. Questa camera può essere utilizzata come camera da letto o spazio vitale. Tutte le camere sono al secondo piano. Oltre al bagno principale al secondo piano c'è un bagno pieno di dimensioni appena fuori dal corridoio con doppi lavandini e un bagno separato e doccia che può essere chiuso con una porta a scomparsa.
Il primo piano della nostra casa ha una pianta aperta e ariosa: una cucina gourmet si apre nel soggiorno che poi si apre su una deliziosa sala da pranzo. Dalla cucina si può camminare direttamente sulla terrazza in pietra blu nel cortile sul retro. Inoltre, al primo piano è un mudroom e un mezzo bagno e uno spazio ufficio privato.
All'esterno troverete un cortile completamente recintato e una grande terrazza in pietra blu che fa da supporto allo spazio verde di conservazione. La nostra casa ha anche un meraviglioso portico frontale per rilassarsi con una buona lettura estiva o una tazza di caffè al mattino!
*** questa casa ha l'aria condizionata centralizzata per il sollievo dalle calde e umide giornate estive e il meraviglioso calore radiante della tavola base per la fredda stagione autunnale e invernale.

From start to finish regarding our mini vacation Liz was onboard and available 24/7!! Sincerely mean that….great response time to any questions which is important when you are the one responsible planning every detail. The house was beautiful and easily accommodated our group of five. Such an easy drive to Portland where we took a pottery class, shopped and had some wonderful dining experiences. I would love to come back to this house and experience it in the summer. Thank you Liz and John for sharing your lovely house!!!

We were all grateful for the comfort and ease Liz and John's home offered us over the long wknd. Especially appreciated the comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, convenient location to beaches and running trails, and the personal touches - feels like you're in a real home not a house purchased solely to rent to vacationers. Working with Liz in the lead up to our stay was a pleasure; super responsive and accommodating. Recommend if you're looking to gather with a big group.

Celebrated my birthday with the family of 7 ranging in age from 3 1/2 to 73 in Maine. Great house for all ages especially the boat room. The toys and books entertained my grandson for house. Very comfortable beds and a separate office. Fully stocked kitchen and gorgeous back yard. Liz and John, the owners are very accommodating. Close proximity to Portand and the beaches. I would highly recommend this house.

We found a beautiful home in Cape Elizabeth to enjoy a family vacation. The home is spacious and well appointed. It is near everything from downtown Portland to the beaches on Cape Elizabeth, to Fort Williams and the Lighthouse, to Freeport, and to Kennebunkport to name just a few destination spots. The house is minutes from the train station and the airport. We enjoyed reclaiming our Maine family roots. The house - with the exceptional hosts - made our time in Maine special indeed.

I could go on and on…Liz and John were the best hosts ever. The property is spectacular. Everything you would need. My friend is a gourmet cook and found the kitchen was a dream! The front and back areas of the home were magnificent for eating, chatting or just hanging out. Liz and John were so welcoming of my friend’s old lab mix dog. All of their recommendations were spot on for myself and my guests and enhanced the experience! They made it comfortable for all of us. The best VRBO experience of my life. Hoping to go back to enjoy more of Liz and John’s Maine!

As developers/builders, we are not easily impressed. This house did it. It had special features and appliances, great opportunity to cook, to sit on a flower filled porch, super comfortable. While incredible, you didn’t feel like your everyday movement would ruin it. Great location, quiet neighborhood.

This wonderful property was the perfect place for our family of seven. The main floor is open, welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and appliances anyone might need. Upstairs the five bedrooms had comfortable beds, and the bathroom facilities were perfect for us. The natural light that flows throughout the house is excellent. Communication with the owners was terrific. Liz and John provided all the support we needed during our stay. Our experience was excellent in every respect. We would not hesitate to return to this property for our next family gathering in the Greater Portland area. A big thank you to Liz and John!!

This house is wonderful and the host is amazing! There is a cool kids room stocked with toys and books. The house is set up very well with helpful notes. We had an awesome stay and Liz and John the hosts reached out before and during our stay to make sure everything was going well. They even provided an extensive guide to the area. I had mentioned taking the kids to the tide pools at low tide, and Liz and John printed out a tide schedule and left it in the house before we arrived. Very thoughtful and caring. We were only there for a couple of days but this is a place I would love to come back to and rent for a month!

Ideal home for our family get-together. The house is made for casual entertaining…the huge kitchen island, the spacious but still cozy living room, and the back patio so well surrounded by trees that it’s like another room. High ceilings. Lots of bedrooms. And Liz could not have been more helpful — very clear info about how everything in the house works (like the dishwasher) and quick to answer questions when we had them.

As yearly Maine vacationers, we have to say that our stay here was amongst the most memorable because of Liz and John’s incredible home. Beautiful furnishings and perfectly located for all the great things the Portland area offers. Minutes from the beach, close to town…great for young kids and our dog - can’t wait to come back!

Liz and John were excellent with accommodating our needs and answering all our questions about the area - so nice to deal with ! The house is beautiful and so comfortable. Even with the rainy day , the kids enjoyed ping pong, making s’mores at the outdoor fire pit( that John readied for us), and playing games. I can highly recommend this home. Thanks Liz and John !

We stayed for two weeks in August and had a wonderful stay with three generations of our family. It fit our needs and more: the kitchen was very well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and there were so many toys and books for our 1 and 2 year old sons to enjoy! The house was also well stocked with board games, so I imagine it would be good for older children as well. The hosts were kind and very responsive.
