Surrounding near the river is beautiful. Arugula on Avocado toasted is refreshing for breakfast. I disagree and disappointed for the Parking fee which Expedia didn’t mention when I make reservations.

We upgrade to a balcony room, the balcony was covered in a white salt like substance that was easily tracked inside. Housekeeping emptied the garbage changed the towels, but did not make our bed. We went to the restaurant, but they only had one person working the bar and food service we opted not to stay.

Boy, there is a charge for everything. The room was not cheap to begin with but $29 for parking in a lot across the street? Will not stay again.

The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond in their customer service with check-in and check out. They upgraded our room and helped with all of my hotel point questions at check out. Beautiful room with bed facing the river. So lovely

River View, Easy Access to Walking, Biking
Lovely river view with Mt. Hood peeking through the bare branches. At night we watched the parade of Christmas ships from our covered balcony. Very nice paved bicycle/walking path along the river, but parking seemed inordinately expensive for an open, unmanned space.

I was here last year during construction and the final changes to the property are terrific. Great cafe and a totally revamped fitness center!

Poor service.
Poor check in. I paid for a river view and balcony and the front desk tried to take those away. No hot water in the shower. Bar service was sub par. Drinks taken away before finishing. Pressure to leave at 8:30pm despite opening hours posted otherwise. Kitchen was closed early so we couldn’t order food. On check out no offer was given to correct these issues.

Just right.
Great staff fast and knowledgable front desk. Good location the breakfast options and server were thoughtful and good. Good walking and running path just out the door. Will stay here again.

Stay for hospital consultation.
We were only there for one night so didn’t see to much of the the cleanliness of the hotel but we saw we pleasantly surprised.

I've stayed here a few times - the staff is ALWAYS lovely - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The views of the Willamette River from rooms with balcony is wonderful. Now that the Cafe is back open, I tried it for dinner and breakfast - both excellent.

Waste of good money
We have stayed here many times over the years, prior to pandemic. This was the worst place i have stayed at this price. There were no amenities, 0. Not even a vending machine. Also we'd never paid for parking before. There were no wash clothes, not a pen or piece of paper. The fridge didnt work. They used to provide robes etc. Just a whole in the wall dive. They are no way a 4 star hotel. No more my go to place.

I'm sorry your experience was unsatisfactory last time you were with us in August 2022. The hotel has undergone extensive renovations and we've been partnered with Hilton since June 2023. I hope you give us a fresh opportunity next time plans bring you to Portland.
