“Coed stable is a lovely little cottage, perfect for a getaway and to escape the world for a few days. The property is nicely presented and very well equipped, with great living space and a super comfy king sized bed. There's also good wi-fi to help stay connected should you need it. A great base from which to explore mid and north wales, I'll definitely be back!”

The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. Although it would have been nice to have sufficient logs for our stay on arrival, when we requested more, there...

“Fantastic little chalet, great amenities nearby in a beautiful location. Owners are super helpful and the fact you can take 3 dogs at no extra cost was just the icing on the cake. Would absolutely stay here again. ”

“St Beuno house was the perfect spot for our family get together. The check in was easy and the welcome basket of local produce was delicious. The house had more than enough room for our whole group, with many different rooms for children and adults to gather. The pool room and bar were very popular. The large dining room allowed everyone to eat together. The children loved the large garden, the games and the BBQ were very welcome. We would highly recommend St Beuno House.”

“Property on a council estate, interior first impression was nice and modern. However all soft furnishings well used and uncomfortable, beds were so badly in need of replacing , can feel springs through the old mattress’s We cut short are stay in need of a decent sleep 😴”

“Beautiful property with lovely gardens, and gorgeous sea views from most of the windows. The communication from the owners was outstanding, very caring and kind wishing you to enjoy your stay as much as possible.”

“We was met as soon as we arrived by clare. Cottage lovely and clean. The bed was so comfortable. The electric fire didnt give a lot of heat out but there was a spare electric heaterunder the stairs. The only thing i would suggest is maybe a throw in the living room just to snuggle under on an evening.”

“What an incredible place, to say you are nestled in the mountains is an understatement, you are at the foot of the most incredible peak in Wales and you have 360 views of valleys and peaks! “This hotel is a right little gem in the heart of Barmouth. It’s such an easy review as everything was perfect and I would come back to Barmouth just to stay here. Staff so pleasant and welcoming and the room was wanting for nothing. We didn’t eat here but that’s something to look forward to next time. ”
