My Oporto House fa parte di un edificio restaurato risalente al 1850, classificato dall'UNESCO come patrimonio mondiale!

Si trova nel cuore del centro storico di Oporto, nel quartiere sul fiume Douro noto come Ribeira, circondato dalle più belle e importanti attrazioni della città come il Palazzo di Bolsa (Palazzo della Borsa), il Palazzo João Novo, il Muro di Dom Fernando, S Francisco Church, Palace of Arts, Hard Club, Douro and Port Wines Institute, House of Henry - The Navigator, Ribeira river area, Dom Luis I Eiffel bridge and Port Wine Cellars.

In questo quartiere, puoi passeggiare per le strette stradine tortuose, goderti le facciate colorate delle case, una volta dipinte una volta piastrellate, gustare il cibo più tipico in affollati "tascas" o ristoranti o fare festa in uno dei bar più vivaci di Ribeira o "Galerias de Paris"!

Bell'alloggio, pulito e molto comodo per il centro. Ideale per una coppia. Parcheggio a pagamento abbastanza vicino. Contesto un po' rumoroso, ma non di notte. Facile contatto con la gentile proprietaria, non presente alla consegna dell'appartamento.

Sweet apartment in great location

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Porto from this beautiful apartment! The flat was spotless, superbly maintained, presents as pictured, and comments by others are accurate. It is on the second floor for those with mobility issues, with a quaint view up a cobbled street and the peaks of Palacio da Bolsa in the other direction. Many restaurants are in the area and Costa bakery, for my favourite pastel de nata, is up the hill. It is an easy walk downhill to the spectacular Douro River waterfront.Isabel was as wonderful as others have said and regularly checked in on us. She provided a great overview of the area with suggestions that we enjoyed. Thank you, Isabel!

A Gem in the Heart of Porto

We loved this property. The location, the decor and amenities.The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need, and we utilised it to make dnner on a couple of occasions. Given our stay in Portugal was for a month the in suite washing machine was very handy.Our host Isabel was fantastic. She was very prompt in responding to our queries. Due to a train strike we were forced to take a bus from Lisbon. Isabel very graciously arranged a driver to pick us up at the bus station and drive us to the apartment.Isabel was waiting for us. She took the time and great care to show us around the apartment and then showed us a local tourist map and walked us through the sites , circling landmarks and restaurants making notes for us. This was certainly helpful in the coming days of our week long stay.The complimentary bottle of Port was greatly appreciated.She also coninued to follow up throughout our stay, suggesting tours and restaurants and to ensure everything was satisfactoryAll in all a terrific week in a beautiful centrally located apartment, made even better by a professional and friendly host.

The property was great! Often the pictures of the property looks better in VRBO than they are but this property was accurate and did not disappoint. It was very nice with nice furnishings and supplies and clean. The hostess is wonderful, very helpful, quick to respond and one of the best I have ever dealt with!It’s in a great location too. Although we had rain, our stay was filled with memories due to the detailed planning of Isabelle. The accommodations were wonderful. The most comfortable of the many high end hotels we chose following Porto. The location was easy to navigate from on foot and of course Isabelle even provided an umbrella.

Amazing Experience!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with not only the home but the host. She absolutely made our stay more special than anywhere we've ever stayed. Ahead of our arrival and after our booking she stayed in communication and recommended many places and things to do during our stay. She personally met us at the home upon check-in and brought a map and identified many places worthy of a visit. Anytime I reached out during our stay she responded immediately. She is a wonderful person and has a passion for this area. The room is as advertised and is beautiful. Wonderful location near the river and so much shopping and many restaurants, all in walking distance. Don't hesitate to book this home! It's an experience we will never forget!

Great apartment in a great location

We stayed at Design House Old Town for 4 nights. The apartment is comfortable, modern, extremely well decorated, and has everything for a stress-free stay. The host, Isabel, was present at check-in and responded promptly to all messages throughout our stay. She couldn't have been more helpful. The only negative thing is that the apartment is on a very narrow street with no car parking. This makes it a little difficult to arrive (and leave) by car with anything more than a little luggage. If you are not driving, and/or are travelling light, there are no negatives about Isabel's property.

Cozy apartment, convenient location

Our host, Isabel was wonderful. I don't think there is anything she couldn't or wouldn't do for a guest and she helped us with many bookings. The apartment is nicely decorated and ideal for anyone wanting to weekend or so in Porto. For two older travelers on a several week trip in the EU, we could have used a bit more room to be ideal. Also I need more light than when I was younger so I found the lighting to be dimmer than I like. No fault of the apartment, we weren't necessarily the right tenants. Close to river made it easy to enjoy all there is to do with a short walk home

The most incredible property and a host extraordinaire

The apartment was beautiful in a location that made everything walkable , for two of us it was perfect! Isabel is a host extraordinaire , our experience in beautiful Porto would not have been the same without Isabel’s personal touch. She arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport , met us at the apartment with a wealth of information about Porto, valuable tips etc. and booked three tours for us.
