“This is a lovely place to stay. My room was spacious and had a gorgeous view. Staff was very helpful - booking wine tastings and sending help via WhatsApp. Would love to go back soon!”

“The property is well situated about half way if doing the Douro drive loop. Grounds are lovely with rooms overlooking vineyards - very serene and quiet. Lots of onsite parking. Staff encourage picking and eating fruit off the trees - the oranges are excellent! There is a nice pool area. “Hotel is very near to Subway rail. No soundproofing either to the outside or to the inside (plasterboard walls in a 4* hotel?). Breakfast very poor, at level of 2*. Restaurant for dinner at street poor restaurant level . But...they have on menu wine Porto 40th year old and we have ordered 2 glass (20 €/glass) and ask to see bottle. After 10 minutes the waiter told us that they put the port wine in their anonymous bottle. A 40th year wine that was removed from origial bottle to a restaurant...
