“This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside.”

“Great little unit that was spacious and easy to find. Close to Baddeck with easy access to the rest of the island. Little playground for the kids was a nice touch, especially when the parents were trying to pack up. We did notice that the fridge didn't seem to be cleaned from the last guest. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!!”

“This was a self check-in. There was no one in attendance, which was unusual. But our room was spotless and the bed comfortable.”

“Great home! The kitchen had everything we needed including delicious coffee and a dishwasher!Bedding was so comfortable and the towels were fluffy. One day was rainy, so we snuggled on the comfortable couch and watched movies. The house was right outside the park which was perfect!!Great backyard looking at the mountains!!”

“I didn’t actually have any contact with the property manager due to being offsite pretty much all day and gone early in the morning. Check in was super easy and just showed up at the site. I didn’t get to explore the property due to the fire ban and restrictions on accessing the woods. View just down the road from the site was spectacular and would recommend driving down before the end of your stay. RV was clean. A bit tight, but that is to be expected. Suited my own needs quite well. If there...

“This may be one of our favorite places we have stayed. The property is in pristine condition, and the setting is so peaceful. It is a wonderful place to recover from hiking through Cape Breton. The amenities are vast; Lynn has stocked the home with great detail to attention. There is no doubt that if we are back in the area, we will be staying here again and encouraging others to do the same. ”
