Cozy Waterfront Home In Portsmouth

  • Getaway from it all! Come stay at this cozy 2 bedroom/1.5 bath waterfront cottage along the Sakonnet River! This cottage offers a private enclosed yard with direct water access and a hot tub. Enjoy your morning coffee overlooking amazing water views on the screened in back porch. This great cottage comes equipped with 2 kayaks, Life vests, beach chairs and floats.

    Both bedrooms have queen beds with flat screen TV’s. In addition, there is a queen size sleeper in Living Room. One of the bedrooms has great water views. Sheets and towels will be provided.

    Fully equipped Kitchen includes an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher, utensils, plates, glasses, cooking pans and pots- including a Lobster Pot.
    It’s a great spot to be away from the hustle and bustle but so close to everything. Less than 10 minutes to the Newport Winery and Newport National Golf Course and 15-20 minutes to downtown Newport as well as the Middletown and Newport beaches.

    Great for a couple(s) getaway or family retreat, this cottage home on the water offers all the essentials, amazing water views and great location near all area attractions!

Great vacation spot. Came for the Newport half marathon and this was a great retreat from the business of downtown. And the hot tub was perfect before and after the race. Good fenced in yard for the kiddos and ocean access for play. Highly recommend this rental.

Really cozy property. Enjoyed being right on the water and waking up early to see the sunrise! The sunsets were also beautiful. If you are looking for a bit of peace and tranquility this property is the perfect spot. The house kept a perfect temperature throughout our stay.

A Great Escape!

My family and I booked this lovely home for a family wedding in town and we absolutely loved the property! The place was super clean, the backyard was so lovely being right on the bay! Would definitely stay here again!

Sakonnet Vacation

Cozy Cottage provided us with great place to stay for our Portsmouth vacation. The cottage lived up to the listing, very clean, updated and had everything you would need. The screened in porch, overlooking the river, was by far the best place to have coffee in the morning to watch the sunrise and at nighttime to enjoy cocktails.

Perfect little cottage for a relaxing getaway that’s just a short ride to Newport. Beautifully decorated and comfy. Loved the screened-in-porch overlooking the water. Perfect place to relax

The Cozy Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed every day there. It was extremely clean and welcoming. Morning sunrises at the cottage were serene. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could ever need to make a meal. Communication from check in to check out with the owner was top notch.

This place was perfect for a low key girls weekend. Beautifully decorated, immaculate, cozy. Everything we needed for the weekend. The view in itself is stunning and it’s so peaceful. We are already talking about coming back. Harry was a wonderful host!

This cottage home was the perfect fit for our family to celebrate our daughter’s engagement. This home has been hearted as a favorite- so well done, so cozy, and definitely plan to return to this heavenly spot! Wonderful communication with Harry.

The cottage was so charming! Exactly as shown in the photos. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. It was stocked with everything we needed although we didn’t cook any meals. It is decorated beautifully. The beds were very comfortable. We would have enjoyed a longer stay to truly take advantage of the wonderful outdoor spaces! The pic is from the patio. What a great space! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay in Portsmouth. Our host Harry was friendly and helpful. The cottage is very well located, the view is splendid. Beds really comfortable. Everything we needed was handy. We are very happy with this rental. Thank you Harry, we'll be back!

Absolute gem!

This rental is a gem! Our family had the best vacation here and didn't want to leave. Every detail of the cottage was so thoughtful. We felt like we were staying at a boutique hotel! The property had enough to do to keep us entertained and relaxed for days. And when we did venture to the beach all our beach needs were totally supplied. We can't wait to visit again!
