  • Welcome to your spacious studio directly on the Piscataqua River in downtown Portsmouth New Hampshire. This lovely abode is just a 5 minute walk to all of Portsmouth's shops and restaurants and a stones throw from the best roof-top restaurant and taco bar in town. This relaxing condo offers a queen bed with 600 thread-count sheets, one full bath, a vibrant dining area, a large screen TV with full WIFI and ROKU access, and a casual contemporary ambiance to make you feel right at home.All of the windows in this unit open up to lovely water views overlooking the Piscataqua River, and allow for wonderful sea breezes all summer long. House trained four-legged friends are always welcome.
    Guests will have smart code access to their unit, however I’m always available for questions or recommendations

The location is great ! It’s an easy walk to downtown Portsmouth. The house is right on the North Mill Pond. You can see the water rushing in and out from under bridge with the tides. There was no one renting the apartment above me. My stay was quiet. There was no need for me to cook since there are so many good restaurants in town.

Such a cute place!! It was in a perfect location to walk almost anywhere you would like to go. They were so easy to get in touch with too. Made our stay and our first time to maine amazing!

The place was roomier than expected and well stocked. Loved watching the tide come and go, and everything was in walking distance but not in a high traffic area.

Great long weekend stay

My wife and I (along with our 2 year old lab) enjoyed a great long weekend stay in Portsmouth at this property…The place was very spacious and was in a great location (walking distance to everything).

The Tide House is such a beautiful and convenient place to stay if you’re planning a trip to Portsmouth! Only a short walk away from all the shops and restaurants the town has to offer. Watching the tide go in and out from the window was so fun! The entire space is very clean and well decorated, a pleasant place to stay all around!

Great spot in Portsmouth

This cozy, centrally located apartment was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed all the natural light and proximity to cafes, bookstores, etc. Would absolutely recommend!

Great location, amazing studio

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was just a quick walk over to the downtown area and very easy to drive to the grocery store or other shopping area. The home was very clean and very well equipped. We tried out a few of the restaurant recommendations (Massimo's, The Works Cafe, and Birio) from the binder in the house and were very pleased. We would absolutely stay here again if/when we visit Portsmouth again!

Property was great, loved watching the changing of the tide. Clean, close distance to center of town. Walkable to stores and restaurants. There was a mix up with check in codes to get into place but Jessica responded quickly and problem was solved!

The Best Little Getaway There Is!

We fell in love with the pictures on line, but honestly, they don't do this little studio justice. It's filled with light, character and charm. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the space is chock-full of thoughtful amenities. We loved our stay (so did our four-legged friends!) and can't wait to come back!

This was the most perfect place in the most perfect location to stay in, if you want to visit the Portsmouth, York and Ogunquit area! Check in was super easy. Host checked in with us a few times to let us know we could reach out to them if we needed anything. My husband and I and our lovable lab spent a few days here. The place couldn’t have been any cleaner and comfortable. It was a quick walk into downtown Portsmouth. Also, perfect and safe location to go out for early morning power walks. I can get anxious staying in some rentals and look forward to getting home. I honestly could have stayed here much, much longer than we did. Already thinking about next time we can rent this wonderful place. I can’t say enough about it. Note…it was on bottom floor. There were visitors renting above us. Except for maybe a couple of footsteps there is no noise issue. Same goes for it being right on road…we had windows closed and AC on due to heatwave and other than an occasional motorcycle, could not hear the vehicles. Lastly, if you are bringing your pup(s), be sure to bring them to Pierce Island (5 min drive) where they can play off leash with lots of other dogs.

The property is well appointed and in very good condition. It lacks any outdoor seating. Adjacent to a major 2-lane street into the city but located 3 blocks walking distance to the western edge of the business district. All parking in downtown Portsmouth is metered.

Serene waterfront studio Portsmouth NH

Lovely studio and well appointed. The bridge is not open to vehicle traffic so this made the location more quiet than perhaps when open. Our GPS or Waze app did not pick up on bridge closure so we drove around a bit upon arrival to Portsmouth.
