“Very pleasant stay for 1 night attending a business meeting locally. They can use an extra pair of hands behind the bar for the early hours of the evening when there was a bit of a queue. Otherwise couldn't fault the place and will gladly be back again.”

“The hotel is in a transition phase - they're in the midst of a reboot/refurb so things are still a bit up and down, though they did seem to be trying their best. I stayed in one of the finished rooms and everything was just as you would expect. Unfortunately the hotel was overbooked so my colleague had to stay in one of the incomplete rooms. “Nice place above a nice bar. Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks. Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town. Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do. Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.”
