“Basic room, this is not our first stay here. The price is right for an overnight stay and only 7 min. drive to LIR. The shower plumbing issue is always an issue and the pillows need to be updated. The AC unit takes forever to cool the room. Thankfully, the barking dogs next door get locked up at sunset. ”

“The staff warned us multiple times about the late night noise from the disco next door (even when we checked in) but we liked the place so much we stayed an extra night anyway. “Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! “Very private feeling tucked away little spot on the beach. This beach was never overly busy and sometimes we had it all to ourselves! Sandy and clean. This is not located in a tourist hub, but a local neighborhood. Be advised the road in is rough and you will want a high clearance vehicle.”

“Wonderful property, perfect for our multi-generational family. Ana from Yellowfin Tours became our go between with staff, a big help and Google translate! Jimmy house manager was right on any issues! Mercedes and her crew kept us cleaned up and the pool guy was great! We used the recommended Chef for 3 nights, very good and very reasonable. We did rent the golf cars to get around town and to the restaurants and grocery. Sure beat the price of rental car we didn’t need, all our tours pick us up...
