Ascolta il ruggito del surf, ascolta le scimmie nella mangrovia sottostante o canta insieme agli uccelli sugli alberi ... questo è il migliore dei due mondi. Seduto sul lato di una collina offre a questa proprietà ben curata, di due acri, magnifiche viste sull'oceano da ogni stanza, pur mantenendo la vicinanza alla spiaggia. Sia che tu scelga di fare una breve passeggiata per la spiaggia (pochi minuti a piedi, letteralmente a 300 passi dalla casa!) o in auto verso una delle tante spiagge situate lungo la strada (pochi minuti in auto), questa proprietà è un rifugio perfetto.

Beautiful view

Short walk to 3 beautiful beaches and the town of Potrero where we enjoyed several breakfasts at the local Soda and a variety of meals at the many restaurants offered.

Fantastic Place to Stay!

This place is absolutely phenomenal, the views are amazing and the house is stunning. We stayed here for three nights with our family and would definitely go back.

Wonderful week

We had a great week at this house overlooking the ocean. A couple of minor issues that were addressed very quickly by the property manager (eg new hot water heater installed). The location is fantastic and the view is great. The onsite caretakers were wonderful, cleaning the pool, making beds, doing laundry and dishes. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful house on the beach in Costa Rica

This house was the highlight of the trip. I would totally recommend it for a small group. Clean, big rooms, beautiful bedrooms high on a hill with ocean view and breezes in the cute little town of Potrero Guanacaste.

Great house and service!

Great stay. The house was great and any issue we had was remedied quickly. Daily cleaning service was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

Authentic Costa Rica experience with amazing views and house amenities

Our family of 5 (3 children) had an amazing time at Potrero house. We were able to relax after a day of activities in the house pool and porch and watch the sunset while cooking meal at the house. It was an amazing experience for all of us, Costa Rica pure vida

Paradise

Absolutely dreamy. Costa Rican perfection. Second time here. Ernesto and Ana (caretaker and house cleaner) are wonderful, helpful and lovely. Mindy (host) is super responsive and goes above and beyond. This place is perfection. Right mix of everything you need to feel pampered, while feeling laid back and casual. You feel like you’re in luxury, without feeling nervous the kids are going to break something. The walk to the beaches is dreamy. And the beaches themselves are perfection. It’s starting to feel like our home away from home.

Glorious!

We spent a week enjoying sunsets in the Nosara area, but this was even better - truly spectacular! We loved hanging out by the pool with the beautiful flora and fauna. Both Playa Penca and Playa Prieta are lovely, and the snorkeling at Playa Prieta was amazing! We loved walking to Reparito House for breakfast. And Ana Maria definitely deserves a shout out!

Location !!! Local !!!

We had special requests that the host graciously assisted with. It was exactly the together time we needed. The driveway was steep but we could have gotten a car. A waitress at Las Brasis referred us to a driver and he took us wherever for 10 to 20 dollars. Just loved the local spots. Not asPrivate as weHad hoped but I think it was because of the dry season thinned out the vegetation. The property could use some updating. LOVED. Location and locals. Would love to go back. Could use some air in the living spaces.

Our Potrero Stay

Mic and Mindy’s home is lovely. It is situated overlooking a stunning view. Our early mornings were spent spotting different birds in and around the property with our afternoons exploring the surrounding beaches and coves. The evenings found us back on the porch enjoying the last of the day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Wonderful views!

We stayed five days at this spot and thoroughly enjoyed the location and home. The view of the ocean, the secure and beautiful gated grounds, the polite and friendly groundskeeper and housekeeper and the quick response from the property management (once when the water stopped and again when the coffee pot needed replacing). I would definitely seat there again and highly recommend it! The pool was nice to cool off in the afternoons and the sweet little dog named Tia that would come visit made the visit even more special!🐶❤️

We absolutely loved our stay in Potrero. Our family of four (2 kids) enjoyed a 10-day vacation in our favorite town. We loved the different beaches (all within walking distance) - all with their own special qualities. I enjoyed picking up fresh mangos at the local farmer's stand. The food choices are all excellent - not a bad meal the entire trip! And the house is gorgeous. The view is amazing in all weather - enjoying sunrises, sunsets, sailboats, and thunderstorms. It's a very special place. The owners and property manager were fantastic - very responsive and kind. The kids (and my wife) were so excited to go boogie boarding so the owners and property manager arranged for two boogie boards to be there! Anna Maria is an absolute doll, keeping the place clean and comfortable. She's so sweet. And the dogs are great! We're do people so it was such a treat to have them hanging around (unobtrusively). We will definitely be back!! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing such a special place.

Wonderful Stay in Potrero

Our family of four truly enjoyed our stay here. Although the main area was not air conditioned, there were plenty of ceiling fans even on the wrap around porch. We never felt uncomfortable. We heard the howler monkeys everyday and even saw them on the last night. There are so many beaches in the area. I wish we could have stayed longer to see even more. The La Leona waterfall trip is a must. Our driver and guide provided an adventure of a lifetime.

Beautiful views!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location was great too. We had a small issue with the water pump on arrival but the host responded right away and the issue was resolved quickly. The host was very easy to communicate with and was always kind. The views from this house were amazing. We really enjoyed them while drinking our cup of coffee in the morning. Highly recommended.

Amazing! What a view and location!

Such a wonderful property! Gorgeous views and gardens. Easy 10 min walk to two beautiful beaches and easy walk to town too. The house was very comfortable and the deck was big with lots of seating options. It was great to have the caretaker and housekeeper on site. they were so friendly. We really enjoyed the dogs as well! The pool and gazebo were also fabulous and used a lot as well. We would definitely come back! Thank you for sharing your home with us !

Dazzling view

Spouse and I, son and daughter in law, and 13 year old grandson spent a wonderful 5 days at the house. The only problem we had was that the common area was often uncomfortably warm, so people tended to spend time in their air conditioned bedrooms. The beautiful outdoor areas were great for morning and evening communal time. It’s possible that the inside warmth was just a manifestation of extremely hot weather during our stay.

Wonderful

Property was lovely and well-managed. Comfortable beds and space, owner and caretaker/house-keeper friendly, helpful, and responsive to questions and needs. Do expect to encounter the expected Costa Rican things - ants if you leave food sitting out, a spider or two by the pool, etc. - which is totally normal and tells you you're in a real home. This property feels like a well-maintained home where you're a guest, not like a rental set up with cheap beds and cookware. The town is charming and the walkable beaches were beautiful and not crowded at all. Would definitely stay again. The whole family loved this property and our time there.
