“We loved the place, the owners are beautiful people providing all sort of services but more important even, they provide very useful information about services in town and average price for them. Super helpful when it comes to bargaining with locals. Ideal place if you look for a quiet holiday as it is close enough to walk to the lively places but located in a quiet local area.”

“Parfait ! Tout est parfait, la location, les repas, le staff et mention spécial au propriétaire qui nous a donnait pleins de conseils, d’endroit à tester, il nous a arrangeait un safari, le transport et … nous avons tellement aimé que nous avons changer nos plans pour y revenir durant notre séjour. La location est parfait à 2mn en scooter de tout, en étant dans un endroit calme avec piscine et en bord de mère. Encore merci pour tout. ”

“Rustic hotel accommodation right on beach, 10 minute drive out of Arugam Bay. Tuk Tuk accessible. Basic accommodation with wifi only in verandah of our unit (11), and in dining area. Lovely atmosphere and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Loved their Sri Lankan meals. It’s not 5 star hotel but the staff make up for it. ”

“Booked this hotel through Expedia prior to my trip, when I landed in Colombo I received a text message from a French (+33) number saying that my booking at The Coconut would be cancelled, and that the prices I had booked were no longer valid! My only choices were to cancel the booking or pay the "new prices" which were 3x higher! I ended up saying I didn't want the booking and found other accommodations. I actually went to the hotel during my trip where the front desk person was frustrated...

“The service was excellent and very friendly staff. Very willing to help and accomodate any request we had. Organised van to Aragum Bay. Nothing was a problem. Good value for money. We were happy with the stay. 👍”

“Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile, siamo rimaste davvero colpite per la loro cura verso il cliente a qualunque ora del giorno e della notte. Colazione molto variegata e buonissima. Per quanto riguarda l alloggio avevamo il primo bungalow vista mare, molto bello come da foto. Non c è da aspettarsi una cura della struttura però per il prezzo pagato assolutamente valido! Per quanto riguarda il rumore avevamo dei vicini un po’ chiassosi ma non è colpa della struttura, ma solo della...

“The staff are courteous and welcoming”

“Wonderful staff and very accommodating. Rooms are clean and the pool was well maintained. Great for families with kids since it is a brief walk from the Main Street in Arugambay.”

"Niente da dire per il direttore gentile e aprensivo ,ma il resto terribile ,abbiamo dormito una dola notte ,poi ci siamo spostati in un altro hotel sempre di loro proprietà, leggermente meglio,poi abbuamo deciso di andare via ,scelta azzeccata,abbiamo deciso di girare lo sri lanka da nord a sud...."
