We were there for 5 nights. Not once did the cleaning crew come into the room to empty wastebaskets, clean floors, sweep carpets, replace towels or provide more toilet paper. I might have expected that if we stayed for 2 nights - not 5. I will say that the girls at the front desk were terrific.

When I checked in I was unaware and not informed by staff that there was a private party in the lobby and a wedding in the meeting rooms. The noise from music, unattended children in the hallway, and intoxicated people made me and my family feel unsafe. This went on till about 1 AM! The staff should've given me the choice to have a room on the upper floor instead assigned me RM 101 right next to the wedding and lobby restrooms. Obviously didn't sleep much. Thought the hotel had a time to limit noise but it was not enforced.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. A bonus was the best shower we've ever used in a hotel! The breakfast area was large, and the selection of items was very good.

I had a terrible experience in this location. I chose this facility because looks clean and safe, but on Sunday April 7th I woke up scare and disoriented because the was a fire in the main floor, I had to come Down without any help from the staff and went to front desk no one was there. I didn't enjoy my stay at All after that, when I asked what do they can do for Me, they reply nothing just keep apologizing for the inconvenience. I do not recommend this location

They forgot my wake-up call. There was no one at the desk for several minutes when i checked out. I had a handicapped accessible room. It was the furthest room from the elevator. The bathroom floor was extremely slippery and there was no bath mat.

The service was excellent. The breakfast was OK. The advertised bar was attended but it had no mixers and a limited supply of liquors.

I stayed for 10 days with my girlfriend and our room had multiple things broken and was only serviced 3 times in total. We also had bugs in our room and in our bed and after complaining about the bugs and damages they said that all they can do is send maintenance and the cleaning service so I waited until the day later and we got nothing. Then the day afterwards we still didn’t get our room cleaned. Overall very upset about the customer service at the Hyatt Place and will not be coming back.

Entering the property from the SW can be challnging as the ability to turn into the property has been ended by a government entity, but GPS systems direct the driver to make the turn. All else is very good.

There was no maintenance person in the hotel. The phone didn’t work, the heat didn’t work and there was nobody to fix it

Had a great stay! They are very accommodating and super clean. Pools open until 10pm which is a plus. Cute little bar area, and the beds were super comfy. It’s in the middle of everything bars, restaurants, shopping near by.

This was a great leisurely stay. It was quiet and peaceful. The check-in staff was cordial and engaging, and the other front desk staff for the next day was pleasant. The room was very clean and had a good view (apart from the garbage container--maybe a structure can be built around it for better aesthetics). Apart from that, there was a creek/brook within that was calming. Complimentary breakfast was ok; not a fan of the box eggs; sausage; bacon delivered in bacon bits style...quite interesting; did not try any bread or bagels; loved the selection of tea (Tazo); apple juice and orange juice decent. Parking is good (first left turn into the hotel); did not like the big self-storage unit being right there, but it is, so be careful of your turn. The location is one light away from the Poughkeepsie Galleria/Mall, and there are a number of other little shops and restaurants around the area. All in all, the stay was great, and I wish I had more time.

I only stayed one night. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. Loved that breakfast started at 7 am. Overall very pleasant stay. Would stay again if in the area.

I did have to move from an room that was adjoined to another one because of noise level and the smell of Marijuana.. but the staff was accommodating.

The property was clean, and they did not have carpet in the room, which was a plus for us! The shower had the best water pressure! Would definitely stay again and try the breakfast next time.

Not what I expected
For the price I should have not had high expectations, but I thought it would have been comparable to a Hampton Inn or Courtyard but it was more like a Super 8. Although it looked clean, there was an old woman’s odor in the room. The sheets were hard/scratchy and the towels very thin. The frame of the bed made a lot of noise every time I moved. The hotel wasn’t well insulated, every time someone walked by my room, it sounded like they were in my room, plus there was a barking dog for over an hour in the morning.Nice size room and although I did not eat the breakfast, it look decent.

People were good. Only one lane of two lane entrance was plowed. Thankfully not a lot of traffic. Hotel has it so you need to put your room key into a pocket located somewhere on some wall of the room before the lights come on. Checking in after dark (winter makes that early) you find a totally dark room that you need to grope around the walls for the card slot to get light. Obviously whoever has this idea only tried in daylight. What a pain.

For a fairly new hotel, this place is a dump. The furniture in our room was falling apart. The couch cushions were ripped. The hotel is noisy. The breakfast was lousy. The security door in the back of the hotel was open most of the time we were there, and there was no latch on the door to keep it closed. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
