This was a beautiful spot- in a beautiful area. Better in person than the pictures! This lovely guesthouse was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. Hosts were great-very communicative and organized.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at the charming sanctuary that is Sweetbriar guesthouse. The hosts have thought of everything to ensure guests are comfortable. The guesthouse is clean and organized and the views from the picture windows are gorgeous!

Great host, more luxurious home than we were expecting, reminded us actually of a Cretan beach villa from a family trip years ago. Multiple areas to relax and hang out, generous space for 5. Very satisfied, happy to return.

Hop skip and jump

This little house was so cute and comfortable. The best part was we were literally two doors down from my aunt who was hosting our whole family for Thanksgiving. The house was spotless, the amenities provided were very high end and the communication with the owners was flawless. I will be letting everyone in my family know this is the place to stay when they are visiting.

If you are looking for a restful stay in the suburbs of New York, this is an ideal place. The historic cottage has been beautifully updated with modern amenities and tasteful decoration. Just waking up in the morning and looking out at the fields is pure joy. The pool and sauna provide wonderful refreshment when you decide it's time to move from your sofa or outdoor chair. And, of course, Pound Ridge, New Canaan and Ridgefield are all nearby should you feel the need to wander.Our hosts couldn't be more hospitable. Communication was excellent from the beginning; everything you could think of was documented in a binder; and they were graciously accessible if you had questions. We are planning on returning in the future!

Absolutely Beautiful Rental

This is the best vrbo rental. Let me list the ways : the location was great for our purposes, the grounds were lovely, no street noise, it was well-stocked, it was clean, there was plenty of room for us, the beds and bedding and pillows were comfortable, the heating system was new and quiet, and on top of all that -- it was so beautifully designed and decorated. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer and skip the next leg of our trip! Would absolutely stay here again, and hopefully we'll be able to the next time we go to Pound Ridge to visit friends.

The owner was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house and property were both beautiful!
