Enjoyable space with plenty of entertainment options. Crack open one of the many board games, enjoy a game or two of pool, and then kick back and enjoy a movie on the 85” television with surround sound! Open living with full kitchen, one and half baths, and laundry. Each room features a comfy king size bed and TV.
Outside, guests can enjoy a large patio with lots of seating, large dining table, propane grill, propane-powered fire pit, many outdoor games, and an outdoor TV. The tree-lined backyard has plenty of greenspace to enjoy, and a second, more traditional firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. We also offer a large playset for kids to enjoy, just note that it is a shared amenity that our family may use as well.
We provide an extensive array of amenities for your stay, including toiletries, towels, bedding, extra blankets and pillows, fans, kitchen supplies, spices, and additional supplies for infants and toddlers. Please reach out if you have additional questions about what we provide- the less stuff you have to pack, the better!
Our linens and home are professionally cleaned with effective yet gentle and unscented products. We are a non-smoking home, and we do not allow pets in the guest suite (we do have a cat that lives upstairs with us). These policies allows us to be inclusive of guests with allergies, asthma, or other sensitivities. We are happy to accommodate any special requests as best we can.
For stays of 30 nights or more, a signed lease is required and will be sent via email—we request you provide your email address upon booking. Pets may be allowed for stays of 30 nights or more with host approval, with a $200 fee per pet.
Guest have a private entrance by following the stairs on the right of garage down to the French doors with push button access via private code. The suite is completely separated from our private residence. We use the front and side doors to access our family's portion of the house, and guests access the suite through French doors on the back patio. You may see us in the driveway or on the playset, but we make a point to respect our guests' privacy and not disturb them.
We are as available to assist as need be. We live on the upper level of the house, and can be as hands on or off as guests prefer. We're always happy to meet new friends or provide hands-on assistance whenever needed, but we default to giving guests as much independence and privacy as possible.
The home is located in a quiet, tree-filled neighborhood on the Scioto River. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, diners, and shops. A quick bike ride on the gorgeous bike path down to downtown Powell, historic downtown Dublin and Bridge Park, the Columbus Zoo, and Muirfield Golf Club. Explore the surrounding area, or relax on the large patio and spot deer, birds, and other furry creatures that frequent our park-like setting.
Walking, biking, and driving are all great ways to get around here. Ask us about a local bike rental program!
We know firsthand how stressful traveling can be, especially for parents of young children. Our goal is to make your experience as easy and comfortable as possible, which includes providing you with as many personal amenities and baby supplies as we can, to help you reduce how much you need to pack for your trip. If there is something you need that we have not mentioned, please reach out, as we may be able to accommodate your needs.

SUMMARY
• Quiet hours are 9 PM to 8 AM.
• No parties. Only registered guests allowed unless approved in advance.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. $1,000 fine for any evidence.
• Pets must be pre-approved. $35/night (up to $200) or $200 flat for 30+ nights. Unapproved pets = $1,000 fine and cancellation.
• Long stays require a signed lease, professional cleanings, and HOA agreement (if applicable).
• Treat the property with care. No tampering with smoke detectors or cameras.
• Any violation of these rules may result in immediate removal without refund, plus applicable fines.
GUEST CONDUCT AND NOISE
• Please treat the property as you would your own home.
• Quiet hours are 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Keep noise to a minimum indoors and outdoors.
• In multi-family buildings, keep sound levels low at all hours.
• No parties, events, or open invitations. Only registered guests are allowed unless pre-approved.
• The total number of people (including visitors) may not exceed the occupancy listed. Unapproved guests or over-occupancy may result in a $1,000 fine and cancellation.
NON-SMOKING POLICY
• No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed on the property (inside or outside).
• Applies to cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, vapes, etc.
• Evidence of smoking (odor, ash, residue) will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate cancellation.
• Additional cleaning or repairs beyond the $1,000 fine may be billed.
• Smoke detectors may be monitored remotely. Do not tamper with any safety device.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Please clean up after yourself. Wash dishes, wipe surfaces, take out trash.
• Treat stains immediately with remover before laundering.
• We provide linens, towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and paper towels. Let us know if anything is missing.
• For stays of 30+ nights, mid-stay professional cleanings are required every 30–45 days and will be billed separately.
• Excessive mess or damage may result in additional cleaning fees.
LONG-TERM STAYS
• 30+ night reservations require a signed lease agreement before check-in.
• Guests must agree to all lease terms sent in advance.
• If the property is in an HOA, guests must also sign and follow the HOA handbook.
• Lease terms may include limits on guest turnover and early termination rules.
• Violations may result in immediate cancellation with no refund.
PET POLICY
• No animals are allowed unless pre-approved in writing. This includes short visits.
• For short stays: $35/night pet fee (capped at $200).
• For long stays (30+ nights): $200 flat pet fee per pet.
• Emotional support animals are treated as pets and require approval and fees.
• All pets must be house-trained, non-destructive, and quiet.
• Pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed of.
• Unauthorized pets will result in a $1,000 fine, cancellation, and removal.
SAFETY, SECURITY, AND BEHAVIOR
• Exterior cameras are in use at all entry points.
• Do not tamper with cameras, smoke detectors, or other safety devices.
• Do not share keys or entry codes with anyone not listed on the reservation.
• Illegal activity (drug use, theft, vandalism, harassment, etc.) will result in immediate eviction and may be reported.
• Do not remove or damage anything in the home. Guests will be billed for missing or broken items.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
• Guests are responsible for their personal items. We are not liable for loss or theft.
• We do not forward mail or packages after departure. Please update your shipping address if needed.
