Motel a Powell

“The rooms aren't connected to the checkin desk building, so it was weird to navigate. Parking was a headache to figure out because it was also connected to a mexican restaurant and a Holiday Inn. The facial tissue box was empty when we arrived. The floor lamp didn't work. And the room smelled mildew-y. I am unsure if a hairdryer was an amenity, because there was a mount for one, but it wasn't there. Also, a iron board, but no iron. I could have overlooked all of that, but on the afternoon...

“Arrival the night staff at the desk was professional, but not very friendly to me or another potential guest. The grounds look like they were all under construction although the place look like it been renovated a while back the room had a strange odor and the beds were pretty and white so I assume clean the bathroom and the sink and need it grouting the floor was absolutely filthy. I got out of the shower and walked to the bed and my feet were black. My husband wouldn’t even let me walk down...

“The room smelled clean upon arrival, and the sheets were clean. However, the shower was gross, and bugs came out of the drain. We stayed there for three nights and housekeeping never came in the room, not even to empty the trash. I understand that everyone wants to “conserve energy” but three towels for two people for three nights is not enough. When I went to the front desk to ask for new towels, they offered me pool towels that might as well have been sandpaper. Sadly, that wasn’t the worse...

“found a large roach in the shower when i turned the lights on .. huge fellow and disgusting ,had to catch it before my wife would see it. i was lucky i got to the bathroom first. she hates them , terrified of them .the night manager was great , helpful”

“Filthy, disgusting place. This is a slum motel with mold, broken faucets, torn up walls and dog chewed siding. Cigarette burns on the bedspreads, I have a bunch of pictures to back this up.”

“Front desk night time attendant helpful. Room not clean at all (and looks like it was never cleaned). Stains on bathroom floor, walls, bed sheets, and curtains. Floors not clean, smelled badly of cigarette smoke (even though it was a “non smoking” room). Would not stay here again”
