“The property was lovely and well appointed -owners really thought of everything that a traveller might need. If you are a light sleeper then the very nearby train sounding its horn in the early hours might be a concern.”

“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. “The sink nor the shower drained. Visible dirt (food) on floor, walls and door. Front desk staff were friendly.”
