“What an amazing place to stay in Praiano! We enjoyed being outside the tourist area, mornings were so quiet with beautiful sunrises. Magical! Francisco was our contact through WhatsApp and he was available and extremely helpful at any time of the day. He offered lots of tips during our trip and helped us scheduling a private driver to take us back to Naples for our train ride back to Rome. “Avoid the mayhem and hordes of tourists in Positano and Amalfi and make Praiano the base of your Amalfi Coast adventure. The host is great, and you'll thoroughly enjoy your time here. However, be warned that it's not easy to find, and you will need to climb quite a few stairs. But don't let that deter you. The town and this villa make an excellent base for your Amalfi Coast stay.”

“My husband and I traveled for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The owner was very friendly and had someone meet us when we arrived to help us with our bags. The property view was incredible - lots of stairs to walk up but well worth it for the view. We had a great stay and enjoyed the friendly cat who would visit us each day.”

The view from the private deck is absolutely incredible and just walking distance from some of the best food you’ll ever eat. The outdoor shower looking out into the ocean was a big love! The town of Praiano was so cute, plenty of restaurants and beaches. My husband and I preferred it way more than Positano or Almafi which were packed! Our stay at La Gemma was a 10/10! ”
