Hotel vicino a Prairie St. John's - Fargo

“cool historic property. Just know that your room is going to face a busy major Fargo street, regardless of which room you are assigned. The rooms have no sound proofing. (more on that later). Fargo is a major motorcycle city in the summer, so, traffic and loud bikes, until around sunset, are it seems almost constant. Back to the noise. Staying on the 2nd level, the first level with guest rooms, the sound of the occupant in the room above me was also quite irritating. Whoever had that room...

I told the staff in the morning but when I got back out still want fixed. So the evening shift fixed while I was out. They were helpful but the place itself seems in disarray.”

“Check in started at 4pm which is later than most other hotels and even though a room was ready earlier, the front desk staff wanted to charge an extra $25 for early check in. We waited until 4 because that didn’t seem worth it. On previous stays at this hotel, we have always had a great stay, but the breakfast this time was not well stocked and we ended going out to eat instead. Other than that a good stay.”

Years ago, when our son was only 3 years old, we stayed at a Home2 Suites and as we were leaving he shouted, “We love you, Hilton!” That has become one of those cherished family memories that we still talk about today. “We were there with a soccer team made up of 10 year olds. The kids loved the amenities that were unique such as a basketball court and indoor pool and hot tub. The adults loved the gas fire pit with dancing flames.”
