Baite a Presque Isle

“This was our second stay at Grand Lake Cozy Cottage. Everything was just as great as our first time there. The cottage feels like a home and is well equipped. We love that they have a ping pong table and nice fire pit with wood. The canoes and kayaks are great too although we didn’t use them this time because the water was a bit rough while we were there. Just like before, we never saw the neighbors. The property is in a very quiet spot. If I were to change one thing, I wish for queen beds...

“In my estimation, this is a premier property in Michigan. It’s got a wide lake. Front view a very large deck. It’s great for entertaining.”

“The room was spacious and clean. There was a large fridge and there was AC, so important in this heat spell. The bathroom is small, the toilet was the smallest you could get in that space and the shower was stained. There was no breakfast. The restaurant is only open 4 days a week, and there is no restaurant open close by for breakfast or lunch. There were no staff on site.”

“The first room we had smelled horribly like mold/ mildew. It was unbearable, so we switched to another room. The second room smelled like someone just smoked a carton of cigarettes in it. I understand it's an old motel, but the rooms were gross and smelled terrible. The rooms looked like the pictures, but the property was not what we expected at all. The chemicals in the pool burned my son's eyes so bad we had to leave right away, still very red and burning today. Such a bummer! I feel like a...
