“Everything about this stay was excellent except 1 thing. And that 1 thing would be the only thing keeping me from staying there again. The problem for me was the smell from the cleaning solution, which I believe was used on the floors, was so strong it was making me feel sick. I am not especially sensitive to odors, but this was really strong. It gave me headaches, nasal congestion, sore throat and sick tummy. If that problem is resolved, I would definitely stay there again!”

“Another great evening at the Brown Hotel for my son and I. The helpful & friendly staff really make it a treat to stay here. We had a late dinner in the lobby, and as usual the food was excellent. Our room had a really nice view. The front desk staff always had friendly greetings. The car valet man gave us a short history lesson of the hotel while we were enjoying the 'museum/historical archive' room. We enjoyed drinks in the lobby until fairly late, and spent some time wandering the property to...

“The hotel itself was great; it was very clean, and there was always an attendant at the front desk if you had any questions. The only issue I had was that room service never came to replace used towels or tidy up the room. Also, the shower has a gap that allows water to flow onto the floor, creating a slipping hazard.”
