“Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others. We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach. “Stayed mid may. Roof bar only open on weekends. The convenience store is stocked but closed, we had to stay in a separate building away from the main hotel, which I didn't love in the humidity and rain. The whole place has air of being partially closed down. Pool bar is soulless, beed carpaccio was just sliced steak. Cockroaches in the bedroom, room was seriously hot when we got there. I think the place has potential but the owners need to try harder . Staff were very nice and helpful.”
