“Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others. We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach. “The staff are lovely and upgraded us to a larger room. The room was spacious and clean, though the bed was pretty firm. The buffet at each meal was good. I didn't realize smoking would be allowed in the hallways and elevators. The constant smell was pretty terrible.”
