“Beautiful Victorian house in a very quite and amazing town. The hotel is great but my only complain is the toilet open concept which has no privacy with the rest of the room, this is at least in the room we stayed.”

Really safe area, off road parking and lovely cafe across the main road for food and drinks. “Everything about this hotel is great. They take you back in time when nothing was too good for you. I have been in South Africa for 6 weeks and the evening meal was delicious on all courses. The best I have had on this trip. Service very friendly and helpful. ”

“We had an unexpected stayover in the lovely village of Prince Albert and checked in at this quaint, old world establishment. Our hosts were very welcoming and even provided a carafe of sherry and chocolates to ward off the cold. The beds were comfortable and the antique furnishings a lovely touch. The beautiful quiet garden is a wonderful place to while away the time.”

Achamos estranho não sermos recebidos por ninguém ao chegarmos. Não há recepção, não há telefone nos quartos para falar com absolutamente ninguém responsável e não tem sinal de internet.”

“It is a very unique property in the middle of town - we walked everywhere. The room we had was upstairs and very private - they have a beautiful warm kitchen where as part of the store where an amazing breakfast was prepared for us. In our whole road trip this was our favourite stop”

“12 Zelte mitten auf einer Ranch. Kleiner Shop mit allem was man braucht. Gibt Frühstücks- und Grillkörbe zu bestellen. Im Zelt ist alles da. Auf der Ranch gibt es viele Tiere zu beobachten. Typisch für ein Zelt hört man alles um einen herum. Auch nachts die Tiere. Ein tolles Erlebnis. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Attraktionen (Straußenfarmen, gamelodges, tropfsteinhöle,...)”

“Our family stayed at Swartberg Country Manor for one night in February. The first thing that greeted us was the beautiful grounds, and restaurant with a stunning view of the mountain. Then we saw a beautiful historic house with a big old stoep; here we enjoyed 3 very comfortable rooms. And let me not forget the kind and professional staff, including their head chef who made the most wonderful 3 course dinner! A gem! Thank you for a lovely stay. ”

“What an amazing stay! We arrived late at night, but were given such a warm welcome and even asked what we wanted to eat in advance so they could have it ready for us. A simply gorgeous location in the mountains. The focus on fresh, farm ingredients too was a treat. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I would return here in a heartbeat. ”
