The Nassau Inn in Princeton, offers a welcoming stay with a touch of local charm:
- Upon arrival, the front desk staff greeted us with a delightful chocolate cookie, setting a warm tone.
- We booked two rooms, and the front desk staff knew our bookings and kindly placed our rooms next to each other. We are so thankful for their help!
- They provided clear instructions for parking, which is a convenient perk—using a Nassau Inn card key, you can park in any nearby garage (like Hulfish just 100 ft away or Chambers Street) with a flat $20 nightly fee billed to your room. We started at Hulfish Garage but switched to Chambers Street Garage for its proximity to the Princeton campus tour meet point at the Admission Information Center, 36 University Place, Princeton, NJ 08540.
- The hotel has undergone a renovation, featuring modern decor that feels fresh yet cozy. The lobby, though smaller than those in some contemporary hotels, adds to its intimate appeal.
- For a quick salad, the front desk directed us to Olives, easily reachable via a shortcut alley to Witherspoon Street, then a right turn. Olives impressed with its bakery, cold pasta salad, Greek salad, and variety of fruits—perfect for a light meal.
- The hotel’s location is a major plus, being steps away from numerous eateries, making it an excellent base for exploring Princeton.
