Near everything! This garden view apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Kauai's renowned Princeville resort community. Walking distance to shops, and trail to Anini Beach. Hanalei Bay is just down the hill. All of the best North Shore beaches are just minutes away as well as world class golf courses. The studio has a kitchenette, recently remodeled bathroom, private deck, a wonderful shared pool and barbeque area.



The Space:

Private, 1 Bedroom, condo in prime area of Kauai's famous North Shore. Fully equipped and close to everything, Hanalei Bay, Tunnels beach, and all the spectacular wonders of the North Shore are all within minutes of this prime location.



This one bedroom, upstairs unit (no noise above your head) is a studio-style condo. Newly remodeled bathroom, and hardwood floors. The condo has nearly every amenity, featuring a queen sized bed, private bathroom, lounge area, kitchenette, dining area, and private patio with a view of the green belt area (trees/golf course/mountains).



Amenities: The apartment is further equipped with a small load washer dryer, large screen TV with Roku streaming channels (News, Netflix etc) and free Wifi also included.



The kitchenette: has a counter dedicated for cooking, complete with sink, 2 burner cook top and cupboard space. The kitchenette also has a small refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, blender, coffee pot and basic cooking cooking supplies, (pots/pans/ plates, silverware, etc). A tastful 4 chair dining area is adjacent looking out over the private patio.



Sleeping: The apartment has a queen sized bed separated from the lounge and dining area with a wall divider. The TV is stored inside the large cabinet, and can be extended and swiveled to be viewed from the lounge area, or bed, then tucked away out of sight when not in use.



Private deck: this upper story unit has a bright and airy balcony where you can relax in privacy looking out over the lush Java plum trees lining the pathway to Anini Beach, the beautiful private golf course beyond, and there is a peek of mountain view as well.



Walking distance: With a 10 minute walk you can access the primary grocery store on the North Shore, multiple cafés, restaurants, shops, post office, yoga studios, golf courses, banks and ATM’s as well as the local bus line. If you go the other direction, a 15 min walk down the path in front of the condo will lead you to Anini Beach, with excellent snorkeling and swimming.



Hanalei Bay: World famous Hanalei Bay is only 5 min. away by car. Hanalei is a great place to walk the beach, swim, boogie board or enjoy surfing from beginner to advanced abilities.



**Please note, we supply beach equipment, chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc, but have stopped providing snorkel gear since Covid. You can rent or buy snorkel gear cheaply at various places nearby where you can get the correct fit.



Neighborhood: The Paniolo Condominium complex is located in Princeville, a quiet resort community that is home to the Makai and famed Prince golf courses. Princeville is located on a bluff overlooking Hanalei Bay and offers spectacular views of Hanalei Bay and of the famous “Bali Hai” ridge that earned its fame from the movie South Pacific.



The condo is located perfectly for anyone who would does not have a rental car, or who prefers not have to drive to enjoy the area.



Just A Few Minutes Away:



Start your morning with a 15-20 minute walk down the Anini Beach Path (or down Wyllie Rd) to the Westin where you can start your morning with a cup of freshly brewed cup of Starbucks coffee. The Princeville center also has great options for breakfast, coffee and smoothies.



The Magical North Shore:



The North Shore of Kaua'i is ideal for spectacular adventure and tropical escape. Kaua'i's dramatic landscape has been carved for centuries by water and the island's stunning scenery and misty cliffs are punctuated by cascading waterfalls with countless breathtaking vistas. The adventures available to you on this Garden Isle are endless; trek the Kalalau trail and be humbled by the deep ancient valleys, wash your cares away under a waterfall, take a surf lesson in beautiful Hanalei Bay, explore a river on a kayak or take a bird's eye tour of the island by helicopter. Free private parking space in front of apartment - pool key and parking permit provided on check in. Main door uses key pad entry - code provided once the signed contract is returned. Safety key in lock box outside front door - code provided after signed contract is returned.



The Neighborhood:

Princeville is a upscale planned residential and vacation neighborhood on Kauai's North Shore. A park like atmosphere prevails with world class golf courses and walking trails winding throughout. Spectacular sea views and water falls all within easy walking distance of shopping center and restaurants.



Princeville is an amazingly convenient and beautiful community on the North Shore. We absolutely love it and here's why:



From our location it is easy to walk to the beach or the grocery store and the views in either direction are spectacular, with ocean one direction and mountains and waterfalls the other! In fact there is a network of fantastic walking and running trails all over Princeville, making it likely the safest and easiest of locations of the island to walk or take a run. Another bonus is that all the nearby golf courses are open for pedestrian exploration after 5pm, which is excellent for sunset strolls.



The coastline below Princeville provides some of the most pristine, clear water due to the lack of rivers and fresh water runoff. Because of these, Princeville has some amazing exploring to enjoy below its bluffs (surf conditions permitting - check conditions before heading to any beach in Hawaii). The clear water provides some of the very best turtle viewing, snorkeling, pristine coves and nooks and cranny gems on the North Shore. Some of these places are hard to find, so ask us and we will be happy to guide you along with the customized map we provide in the condo. We've fallen in love with Princeville and know you will too!



**As an added note, Kauai is not lack of its fair share of rainfall and storms. It is no secret that Kauai, with all of its beauty can also be temperamental, so it is good to be prepared and Princeville is one of the best places to stay on the North Shore in the event of a storm. Princeville is high and dry, safe from Tsunami and floods and is optimally located near to food shopping and emergency services. Roads leading to and from Princeville rarely get affected in storms so getting to and from the airport will not be a problem even when Kauai is flexing her muscles.



Getting Around:

In general we recommend renting a vehicle while on Kauai as it provides most visitors with the island access and freedom they prefer. However, for those who enjoy to walk and for anyone who would prefer not to drive there is plenty to see and do on foot from the Hale Humu. There is also the option of public transit with a bus stop only 5-10 minutes walk from the condo.



Unfortunately, Kauai is still a bit behind the times with its public transportation and the bus does not cover the entire island. The furthest the bus goes on the North Shore is to Hanalei town.

** Please note, we no longer supply snorkel gear after Covid. All other beach equipment provided, but Airbnb will not let us edit that field. Snorkel gear is readily available and cheap at various places nearby, where you will be able to get the right fit **
