Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below. With four new artificial turf and two new hard courts as well as 6 new pickleball courts added to this world ranked tennis resort, everyone is sure to find their groove. Onsite restaurant, pizza oven, and coffee shop, concierge and fitness center, there is little need to ever leave!

Located at the private end of the resort, this spacious one bedroom condo has views that display Kauai at its finest! The full kitchen will accommodate meal preparation and the BBQ area is quite close by! The large living area has a trundle bed (two twins) and the sofa also folds out into a queen sleeper. The condo is stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach cooler. The resort has many amenities to keep you busy some to include, on site bar/lounge, 2 swimming pools, a hot tub, a fire pit arena, tennis courts and a fitness center. Furthermore the direct beach access is a bonus and is rare for Princeville complexes. Kauai is home to miles of amazing pristine beaches and a whole array of fun activities such as kayaking, golfing, zip lining, surfing, hiking and much more.

Can’t say enough about the view from this condo! It also was larger than it seemed from the pics. Resort grounds were amazing as well. Only reason I’m giving 5 stars vs 6 is because the vacation property management company was not responsive at all when we reported 2 minor issues.

The condo was absolutely perfect. Very clean, spacious, and the beds exceptionally comfortable. All the amenities you could need for a stay, and the view was hands-down the best feature. This is our fourth time on the island and by far one of our favorite stays.Will definitely come back and stay here again.

Great location

The condo was great and exactly as listed. Only room for improvement would be the trundle bed mattress was definitely worn out for an adult sleeper. Otherwise the views and unit couldn’t be better. Thank you so much!

Beautiful setting next to green belt. Roomy unit. Beautiful view and comfortable lounge chairs on Lanai, but high stools at table are hard to get onto an uncomfortable (all your weight is on your thighs. Pillows too soft for me. Nice kitchen and accessories. Not sure why there was another refrigerator in the living room.

Our favorite place to stay by far!

We loved this property. The units were amazing and the owners thought of everything. The Hanalei Bay Resort (HBR) is so beautiful. The views are majestical and could not get over it everywhere you look. The staff are great as well! Thank you for everything. We will be staying here again and will recommend to everyone we know!

Loved our stay the property is beautiful the condo was lovely. The only complaint is that in the VRBO listing it was NOT clearly mentioned about the resort daily fees and the parking fees. Which ended up being an extra 300 dollars.

Pretty Nice

I rarely write reviews and do not want to sound negative, but I want to mention a few things that I would have liked to of read prior to our visit.. Unit is generally nice, has pretty views and is very private. We met the cleaner just as it was getting ready for us to start our stay, about 20 minutes before 4:00. Unit seemed "quick-cleaned." It was mostly clean; the tile floors were dusty/crunchy in some common areas and really dirty under some of the furniture. The recliner chair in the front room was super dusty; we put a comforter over it during our stay. My daughter found a couple used Band-Aids in the roll out bed, not sure if they were left by previous guests on purpose but kinda gross. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. The fitted sheet did not fit but the mattress was good quality. The fan in the only bathroom never worked. It was looked at and a "part" was ordered but it never functioned during our week. This made the bathroom essentially a closet. The unit had chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear that we appreciated. Some of the furniture in the unit, like the bedroom furniture, is light weight and just lower quality. I don't want to beat this place up, it's decent, but unlike places we have stayed in the past this unit appears to be a full time rental and not frequented by any owner. It's just a little banged up like rentals can get. I would recommend it in a pinch, it works, but for the money I would consider other options as well.
