Grandview on the lake-Private Cabin nestled in the mountains on a 300 acre lake.

  • Beautiful private cabin on 1.6 acres sitting on the peaceful waters of lac Unique. Sit back and listen to the loons calling as the sun glistens on the calm water. Surrounded by trees, peace awaits.
    The main cabin’s interior is designed with Scandinavian and rustic charm. The main living area has expansive views of the lake for your morning coffee. There is a full kitchen to prepare your gourmet meals. Full bathroom with washer and dryer. The main cabin bedroom with its dark navy walls and natural pine accent wall exudes Canadian cabin. There is a queen bed and a rollaway twin bed in the main cabin. There is a mini split to keep you cool or warm no matter what season.
    The seasonal bunkie separate from the main cabin called the Studio is inspired by sophisticated Rustic with barn wood beam and post with rusted barn tin ceiling from an 1896 barn in Ontario. There is a portable a/c to keep you cool in the summer. The bunkie does not have heat. There is a queen bed and two twin beds
    The property is 1.6 acres surrounded by trees for seclusion from your neighbors. There is a large grass lawn for family games which are provided as well as life jackets and paddies in the Blissful Shed. There is a canoe and paddleboards for you to get out on the calm waters of the lake . The lakeside firepit is the perfect spot to roast marshmallows as you watch the sunset. There is over 100 ft of lake front with a gradual entrance perfect for the little ones. Saint Francois de Madawaska is 15 min drive which has a gas station and grocery/hardware store for all your needs. Head to Goodies Cafe in nearby Clair for the best muffins and ice cream . Edmunston is 40 min and Quebec City just 2 1/2 hours for day trips. There is parking for 4 cars as well as room for the trailer and boat. Lac Unique is 300 acres perfect for boating , fishing and swimming . Community boat launch is just a 2 min drive away. Come and enjoy the piece of paradise which is sure to become an annual tradition.

This place was so cozy and warming! Everything you need is there and if you forgot something, there is a nice store within 10min drive. The property is big, you feel on vacation the minute you step in. The owner if very easy to acces and super helpful. From Wifi to clean towels to chairs, paddles, wood.. Everything is perfect!

wow, this cottage was perfect! So cute, clean, furnished with everything you need... like everything... firewood, paddles boards, clean towels, clean sheets and pillows.. chairs for outside. BBQ and accesories. TV ..netflix and good WIFi. The VIEW is just perfect...its peaceful, calm...unless you bring the kids ahahah.... You can fish..the lake is clean and easy access for kids. Like a family cottage we wish we had...

Very complete one BR “cabin” in a beautiful setting right on a small “canoe” size lake. Very peaceful watching the small birds and waterfowl, and just relaxing. Since there were only two of us, we didn’t use the annex with other sleeping facilities

Beautiful cabin

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! Mark we super reactive before and during our stay, the lake is super clean and clear :) would 10/10 recommand ! Everything for the kitchen was there as we needed, and we could really feel that it was a welcoming nest with lots of love, we will for sure come back for another creative retreat! Cheers

Beautiful relaxing site

We have truly enjoyed the very cozy and well-equipped cabin and calming site, which is also very intimate. We have stayed for 7 nights in mid-August 2024. Nous avons adoré nous relaxer près du magnifique lac, à regarder les canard et bernaches qui venaient y nager. Thank you Mark!

Amazing family vacation

I brought my two young sons and our family dog my myself to stay at Mark's lovely property. I was pleased to find out how well set up and stocked this comfortable cottage and property were, so I didn’t really have to worry about anything. For any small things or questions that came up, Mark was very responsive and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. Definitely recommend!

Perfect spot for some peace of mind.

My parents, and I stayed for 10 days, The owner Mark is awesome, no word of lie. Wanted to make sure we had the best experience there, encouraging us to try out the paddle boards and informing us of all the nearby stores/restaurants etc. We went on our own adventures and checked out some nearby coverall bridges and waterfalls. Being pet friendly and letting our dogs come up with us, made the experience so much better.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au chalet de Mark.Le lac est magnifique, paisible et sécuritaire. Tout est pensé pour que toute la famille puisse en profiter en toute quiétude. Nous avons adoré les poissons amicaux qui venaient nous voir et avons même eu la chance de voir des dizaines de bébés barbottes lors de notre dernière journée. Nous avons également eu la compagnie de canards, bernaches et libellules. Les enfants étaient ravis.Le chalet est très propre, confortable et bien équipé. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Nous sommes vraiment reconnaissants d'avoir pu profiter de cet endroit magique avec nos 4 enfants et notre chien. Nous reviendrons assurément si l'occasion de présente à nouveau.Merci Mark pour le bel accueil et pour une excellente communication.La Famille Martin

Wild get away peaceful place

Tout est inclus!! Litterie, serviettes, epices a la cuisine, il y avait meme du ketchup et mayo! Lits confortables, chalet agreable avec termopompe pour chauffage et climatisation. 3 paddelboards, flotted matress, 6 chaires for outside firepit. Bbq with propane et bois pour feu exterieur ou pour le poele a bois interieur. Nous avos bcp aimé notre sejour! Proposition: faire des screenshots des informations comme adresse, code d'entrée, code wifi. La region n'offre pas de reseau cellulaire ou internet! Mais le wifi du chalet est exemplaire!
