“We absolutely loved our stay at the Rockland Talbot House. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very, very comfortable. The property is a beautiful, well kept house from the 1800's with lots of character and original pieces. The Inn has a wonderful coffee machine with hot lattes, cereal, oatmeal, muffins and other pastries for breakfast as well as fresh fruit, juices and yogurt. “Room was clean, view was really great, bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom was very small and cramped with sink area open to room. Parking area in need of work, paving and organization. Office closing at 8:00 PM a little concerning but after hour access provided was acceptable. ”

“This was exactly what we needed on our drive up to Acadia National Park. A clean, non-expensive hotel room to stay the night. We got delayed on our trip and the office left instructions on how to get the keys and get into our rooms, including a well drawn map. I'm taking off 1 star simply b/c there were only 2 towels in each room even though the reservation had 4 people in each room. I'm sure Hotels put 2 towels in each room as they turn them over, but it's a pet peeve of mine that someone...

“Beautiful inn and nice breakfast. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. Keep in mind that the bed in room 7 is quite small for a couple. The amenities, soaps and shampoos were tiny and not good quality. If those were upgraded, I would have given it a 5 star.”

“Camere grandi con 2 letti queen. Moquette macchiata veramente poco igienica. Bagno con wc basso e vasca piccola con tenda. Se volete una camera silenziosa chiedetela al piano superiore. Se siete al piano terra si sente la doccia e lo sciacquone della camera sopra. Non si sente rumore di auto dalla strada. Personale molto molto gentile.”

“Camera piccola con letto cigolante e cuscini scomodissimi. Bagno con lavabo funzionante male (impossibile non vederlo quando si fa la pulizia) Check in non molto accurato. Colazione di ottima qualità ma con solo un piatto (anche se alcuni abbondanti ma non tutti). Servizio della colazione buono.”

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”
