“The room looked clean, but unfortunately it did not smell fresh. There was a noticeable odor, like dust and something stored away for a long time, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. With better ventilation or a deeper cleaning, the experience could have been much better.”

“It was off-season, but we enjoyed it. Celebrated my daughter’s birthday and went swimming barbecued cooked a lot. Barbecue propane tank were empty, but staff was able to help get it going. ”

“I would stay here again. On site sauna and gym open til 10pm, gym is small but clean. They also have an on-site restaurant thats extra but breakfast was fresh and quality was excellent. One mile walk into downtown Truckee and 0.5 mile walk to nearest plaza that has a decent Thai and wine restaurant. Short 20 mins drive from Palisades if there's no traffic.”

“Extremely well located. The breakfast was nice; the staff was great. Extremely clean. The hallways could be better lit (I bumped into a door jam I couldn’t see) and a cabinet door in the room that needed a new latch (little things). The beds could have been more comfortable, but for the price…”

“We would definitely stay here again! We were there for a family get-together and it is a very nice property. Good fresh breakfast served daily and lots to choose from. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa available all the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is very convenient...it's right in the middle of everything. Only 15 minutes to Lake Tahoe and just minutes from downtown Truckee! We didn't go into the pool but used the Hot Tub almost every day - big and...

“Very clean and neat. Guy was terrific and the women was demanding. Not enough items for our stay and they expected us to run down to the service the cabin and retrieve what was missing in the kitchen - they need to review and stock themselves. Pool was not open maybe seasonal issue - don't know.”

“Rm 11b is outdated, bathroom toilet is small and low and will not flush unless handle is held down, shower curtain was still wet when we checked in and smelled bad, shower knob was difficult to pull, cabinet did not close completely, bed sheets were rough and itchy, the room was dark, table lamp broken, and had to find plugs for charging at bedside. The breakfast buffet was not worth $20. The property itself was nice but our room was not worth staying another night for.”
