“Gewoon een gezellig hotel met een goed eenvoudig restaurant. Zeer goed gegeten. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig maar volledig en goed.”

“We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!”

“The room was modern and clean, looked freshly renovated. I’ve missed shoehorn though. Breakfast was inclusive in room price and was indeed very good and varied but for cakes which weren’t sufficiently offered. All in all very good hotel for reasonable price.”

“This was a wonderful hotel that I wish I could have enjoyed for longer. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms did lack outlets but I believe that is because it is older. The hotel had a very friendly and helpful staff. I was happy I could easily rent a bike at a low cost for the day from the hotel.
