“Stayed one night to be close to Playa Puerto Angelito for (excellent) whale- & dolphin-spotting trip with Screaming Reels starting at 7am the next morning (if doing same worth rehearsing walk to beach in the light the day before). “Lovely hotel in a nice area. We really enjoyed our month-long stay at Hotel Manglar! Close enough to Punta to enjoy the restaurants, cafes and beach, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful neighbourhood with lots of nature around. Safe area with nice locals and a few other little hotel/casas.
