“I just loved this place. Felt like visiting family on a remote beach. 180 deg. out from all inclusive corporate places. My hut room was spacious, restaurant was real good. Staff super friendly. Plus got warm welcome from the owners dogs who watch over things. “I chose this hotel because it presents itself as a luxury resort, with rates around $400 per night. Unfortunately, the quality of the room and the overall condition of the property did not meet what would reasonably be expected at that price point.
The main curtain in my room was covered in visible paint stains and remained that way throughout my stay. For a hotel positioning itself as luxury, this level of visible wear and lack of attention to detail is disappointing.

“The room was being cleaned as we arrived and not deep cleaning. The staff didn’t speak any English so it was hard to discuss anything. The water didn’t work at all during our trip and we let them know at 8:30 pm and didn’t have water until morning. One of the beds didn’t have any covers. We put a complaint in and never heard back. The place is beautiful and great location. ”
