Perfetto se vuoi uscire col kite

Al mattino spiagia o piscina relax e poi al pomeriggio vento perfetto per uscire col kite.

Poor Customer Service

I was very disappointed with my stay at this facility. I arrived at the hotel around 7 pm for check-in. The front office personnel had gone home for the day so the security handed me an envelope with my name and key. There was no additional information provided about hotel facilities or amenities. After my lack luster check in, I went to the restaurant for a quick bite to eat. The hamburger I ordered tasted spoiled. My room had a persistent foul odor and my ceiling fan did not work. At the time of check out, the clerk made me wait while he completed a personal call on his cell phone, and did not end the call until I placed the key on the counter and began to walk away.

Perfect hotel for kiteboarding

If you're a kiteboarder, this is the place to go. It's clean, the hotel staff is nice, gated parking, excellent breakfast, and quiet. Highly recommend!

Expected more.

The hotel was below average. The room I had stayed in has paint peeling off and the A/C barely worked. Food was bland and nothing to do on site aside from swimming in a tiny pool that needs to be updated. Bottom line I would not go back there.

A place to sleep

Spent most of my first few days of vacation (Thursday thru Tuesday) waiting for repairmen to open my safe . Everyday the front desk told me the repairman was on his way , no later then noon . After 6 days the locksmith showed up. The point break restaurant was a hit or miss. 50/50 chance they would have what was on the menu. It was more of a snack shack then a restaurant. The free breakfast was fruit and powdered juices. That wasn't an issue because there are numerous outstanding restaurants in town to eat at. A few times i returned to my room in the evening to find that the maid service never showed up . Maybe 4 or 5 times out of a 12 day vacation. The resort pool is very very small and there was two or three little local children swimming in it mostly every afternoon. The kite surf shop staff that is attached to hotel is very loud , i witnessed several yelling matches and just general rudeness from them during my stay.

מלון עם פוטנציאל , לא מתוחזק כמו שצריך , מזגנים לא עובדים, אין נוף גם בחדרים שמצויינים כבעלי נוף "חלקי" , הנהלת המלון נוהגת להעביר אנשים מחדר לחדר במשך השהות (???!), הצוות רובו נחמד ומנסה לעזור. עדיף באגואלינה דלת ליד.

Generally, I had a good experience at this hotel. if it weren't for a couple of issues, my rating would have been significantly higher. I was part of a group that had rooms in both the new and the old buildings. The new building is generally much nicer, but for some reason doesn't have wi-fi. One of the rooms had an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom that didn't go away for a few days. And while the hotel is directly on kite beach, it was a little farther from Cabarete beach than we expected. Most of the staff were very nice and friendly. Except for the unexplained odor, everything was very clean and well kept.

DE ne plus jamais y mettre les pieds. accueil mauvais avons réservé une chambre supérieure avec clim - coffre - terrasse vue mer. ns avons atterri dans une chambrette acec fan - coffre sans clé inutilisable - très mini terrasse avec vue sur façades moisies et ordures entassées(aucune vue sur la mer) n'avons pas défait les valises dans ce lieu sinistre après de nombreuses palabres après 24h avons un autre logement. surprise totale. coffre défectueux - frigo rouillé - matelas inconfortable - cafards - vitre cassée dans la cuisine que ns avons remplacé par du plastique (cause insectes ) manager inbu de lui même.Nous tenons à remercier un monsieur canadien surfeur, ainsi qu'un jeune couple Maria&Raphael pour leur soutien moral.

ponto alto foi o cafe da manha

Ficamos hospedados 11 noites. A localizacao é muito boa pois fica entre a praia de encuentro, onde meu namorado praticava o surf, e a praia de cabarete onde tem varios bons restaurantes. O ponto alto do hotel é o cafe da manha, com vista pro mar e um otimo atendimento. O ponto negativo do hotel é que estava em reforma, assim a limpeza nos quartos era otima, mas nas dependencias do hotel deixava a desejar, principalmente na piscina que se encontrava com areia da obra e os trabalhadores ficavam ao refor dela, o que causava um constrangimento para usar a piscina. Outro ponto negativo a qualidade do colchao, que era de molas muito mole. Sugiro a substituicao por colchoes mais firmes para ficar mais confortavel. No geral é um bom hotel. Eu recomendaria este hotel

Ok for price level, a bit far from Cabarete

I stayed for 5 nights. Pro's: Room was clean and overall ok (really basic though, don't expect any luxury). AC is quiet and working well. Free Wi-Fi works in lobby and nearby rooms but not in the cafe that is next to the beach. (a tip, there's a cafe in next hotel that has free Wi-Fi). The beach is nice and kept clean. During windy days the beach is full of kite surfers so not really a place to just lay on the beach sunbathing (or then you have to go a bit further to the beach, or stay in pool area) Con's: In my room there was a small TV and had annoying noise on it (I watched TV only on one rainy night). Hotel is located a bit far from Cabarete (approx 25 mins by walking) so if you're planning to go there, maybe better to book a hotel that is closer. Of course there are moto riders across the road, just pick one and you'll be in Cabarete just in a few minutes. On the other hand, due to location hotel is very quiet. Generally if you're into kitesurfing this is a hotel to consider. They also have package deals with hotel and kite surfing equipment.

Dominican Republic Getaway

The rooms were decent. Had an issue with the toilet in the first room I was given but the staff changed my room immediately! Also, the cable television never worked the entire stay. Breakfast was included and good. Would I recommend it? Maybe.

Nice hotel for the once who go there for kiting.

Perfect location for kiting. The hotel is OK, but don't expect much luxury. It's nice, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is also ok. All I expect for such kind of vacation. It's not a hotel for families or people who don't kite. There is not much to do besides kiting. If you kite, please be careful with the local boys. There are some of the boys who are very friendly at the beginning and want to help you. But it seems that they pinch the kites in order to offer a repair service later.... It's recommendable to talk to Stefan who runs the kite school next door. He recommends you one of his boys. They are really nice and good boys. Don't forget to tip them. Besides this, there is a lot of night life in Cabarete. It 2 miles away. Either you take a nice walk at the beach or you take one of the motorcycle taxis.

Wonderful Place to Relax

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The setting was wonderful and never once did we feel uncomfortable. Janina, the hotel manager, was always available to answer questions or make recommendations about restaurants or nearby activities. This is not a place for someone who is looking for an all inclusive experience but it is perfect for a relaxing stay on the beach. The beach is sandy and clean and, when the kite surfers are taking a break, it's a great place for a swim.

Bra hotell med bästa frukostvyn

Mitt på lille Kite Beach för den bästa upplevelsen av kite, men även lugn! Rent hotell, Vi bodde i ett av superior rummen. Bra frukostbuffé. Sämre mat i hotellbaren om man är lat och inte orkar ta sig till Cabarete"city" för en middag. 20 min promenad längs stranden in till Cabarete "city" där alla strandbarer och restauranger ligger.

Idealement placé pour le kite, plage juste devant l'hotel ! connexion wifi mais pas d'ordi à disposition resto sur plage pour petit dej, pour le diner le soir service un peu long petite piscine et douche pour se rincer, chaises longues a 25 minutes de marche par la plage de Cabarete centre moto et taxi dispo devant l'hotel

Great hotel for my mom's birthday!

The setting of this hotel is wonderful. Every room is near the ocean and all breakfast is prepared oceanfront. The staff members were very accomodating even though they seemed overworked. Some seem to work two shifts: Despite that, they kept a polite demeanor and try to be of service whenever I needed them (to get towels, extra soap, etc.). The condos where my family and I stayed were comfortable although not luxurious - but that is just what we needed. Dario, at the front desk is a very nice man. So was the male manager who greeted us by the pool (Marcos?). Dario came outside of the hotel to meet us when we came late at night, to make sure we did not get lost. He has a very soothing demeanor and made us feel right at home. This hotel has a very relaxed attitude and I did not sense any of the pretense that one feels in other results in The Dominican Republic. Everyone was there to enjoy themselves - stress free! Loved it.

My stay was awful, the rooms has joint doors, the wall leak, the water in the tub when taking a shower run real slow, bed was more like a full size instead of queen, no telephone in my room, no fridge in my room. no elevator. Just not satisfy at all. The mattress has stain all over it.

Can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I were in the DR for a week and stayed at Kite Beach Hotel for 3 of our nights. Now, I'm wishing we'd have stayed there the entire time. The location is perfect, just outside the town of Cabarete, so it's nice and quiet but still right on the beach. The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and generous. I am counting the days until I can go back!
