Between Cathar Country and Catalan Country, at the foot of its castle—one of the royal fortresses of Languedoc—nestled in a pristine natural setting, you’ll discover this collection of three fully equipped vacation rentals on the outskirts of the village, just a stone’s throw from the La Boulzane River. The small town of Puilaurens and its residents offer you the ideal vacation setting to recharge in peace and quiet, and to discover not only the historical heritage but also hiking and mountain trails, whitewater activities from rafting to hydrospeed, biking along the mountain pass routes, trout fishing, as well as the delights of local mountain cuisine. The coast, Carcassonne, and Perpignan are about 1 hour and 30 minutes away. There are restaurants nearby and a small shop in the village. The single-story cottage features an open outdoor area right outside the front door, equipped with an electric griddle. It includes: _A fully equipped kitchen-living room with a sofa, _A bedroom with a 160-cm bed, _A bathroom with a toilet. Cleaning services, sheets, and towels are available for rent; please contact the owner. The cottage is accessible to guests with limited mobility and can be rented together with two other cottages: Alquière or Escarbatets. Check-in is required on Saturday only.
