Still amazing! Great updates and superb food! It had been a few years since our last stay at Hotel Mayan Princess, and we couldn't be happier with our return. The recent renovations look fantastic, and the entire property is extremely well-maintained and beautiful. A special thanks to the staff (particularly Jenn) for being so warm and helpful throughout our stay. To top it all off, the food was spectacular, just as I remembered! Can't wait to visit again.

No point to stay here. Lots of seaweeds, it's impossible to swim and snorkeling isn't great either. On top of that the food options are limited and disgusting and the owner is as nice as a kick in the arse. Do yourself a favor: spend a bit more and get a room in West Bay.

We ended up being disappointed by the „resort“. First and foremost, customer attention is extremely poor. There was no reception and we had to ask for everything via WhatsApp. It felt like we had to beg for many things, we had to write every day that we want our room cleaned and towels changed, or else they would not do it. We also had to ask for beach towels as they were not provided. The wifi was not working well in the room and the AC was making heavy noises and was dripping. They claim that they would always bring you to the beach with a golf cart, however we ended up walking there most of the time as we didn’t see any staff to bring us. Breakfast tastes good but as a hotel guest your options are strictly limited to the same 3 items on the menu, which after multiple days gets boring. I also had to beg to change the bacon with avocado to have a vegetarian breakfast. It seemed like we were the only guests end of July/beginning of August which added a strange feeling to our stay. The infinity pool was nice, yet small, and the beach was nothing special. The sun beds are old and we were biten heavily by sandflies. As we had to leave early the last day, we asked to get our included breakfast to go, which was declined. The arranged airport shuttle did not show up! Luckily we found someone cleaning in the morning and she called a colleague that took us to the airport while stopping multiple times to pick up other workers. We arrived 25mins later than planned to the airport.

Beautiful villa stay in Roatan — we’d come back We stayed in a beautiful villa in Roatan and loved the setting from the moment we arrived. Having the pool right outside the door and an ocean view made every morning and evening feel special. It’s the kind of place you actually use, not just photograph. Staff were very accommodating throughout the stay and made things easy. The on-site dive operation was a huge plus — super convenient not to have to leave the property. The dive masters and captains were wonderful: professional, friendly, and clearly know these waters. The gym was another highlight. We loved how close it was and how well it was equipped. Easy to stay consistent without disrupting the rest of the trip. The restaurant is expensive, so we were more selective there and mixed in other options. That was the only real drawback. Overall it was an easy, well-run stay with the views, pool, diving, and gym all working in our favor. We would definitely come back.
