I was assigned a room on the 17th floor. Upon opening the door, I noticed a strong acetone-like odor in the room. As we were in a hurry to attend an event, we initially ignored it and left the hotel.
When we returned around 10:45 PM with my 75-year-old mother-in-law, intending to rest for the night due to another early event the next morning, the odor had intensified significantly. The smell was so strong that it caused coughing and made it difficult for us to remain in the room.
The hotel staff was courteous and responsive and assisted us in changing to a different room, which we appreciated. However, the replacement room was excessively warm, and the air-conditioning system did not allow us to adequately reduce the temperature, making it uncomfortable to rest.
While the property is visually appealing and the staff was helpful, the air quality issue and subsequent discomfort significantly impacted our overall experience.
