Not as expected…12 of us stayed at the Villa Gemela at Los Corales-Beach. This property accommodated us but was disappointing overall. Here are our observations:•The listing advertises a hot tub on site- there isn't one•It also advertised a grill (shown in pictures) and washing machine, both are behind the house used by staff •The listing pictures do not represent what is currently on site•1 bedroom had a door latch which was sticking and could only be opened with a sharp blow with a shoulder. The option was to leave it open with the door stopper which had been added to the door•1 bedroom has a ceiling fan that is not mounted properly looking like it might fall from the ceiling when turned on•1 bedroom has a noisy ceiling fan, tub shower with a broken handheld shower head holder, a broken tub faucet and no shower curtain or enclosure, the toilet seat was falling off and not the right size and the bidet did not work•1 bedroom had a toilet that did not flush the waste out•The pool table missing one ball•The refrigerator only has one shelf which makes it hard to store food•The furnishings are generally old, worn and sparsely arranged•The patio couch and chairs only seat 5 •The couch under the cabana is torn, old and dirty•There are several safes in bedrooms, but only 1 works •Additional paperwork and agreement to sign outside VRBO•The staff is friendly. Chef and food good but way too much•Renters beware- the place needs work!•More to say but out of space
