1st i would like to say this is a beautiful resort. Unfortunately i didn't get to experience it. I book a 5 day stay and was only able to eat at the buffet or the valley. I was able to eat at the Italian restaurant once because Every restaurant was booked with no room Every night. The spa also was always booked. The front desk staff wasn't helpful at all with these issues. No microwave in rooms, and my refrigerator was warm. As far as the wait staff, grounds staff and bartenders, they were excellent. Jonathan from the lobby bar and Jason from the pool bar gave exceptional service.

Our stay at Lopesan was a delightful family experience. The spacious and well-designed rooms offered a comfortable retreat for us and our children. The resort's activities catered to all ages, from thrilling water sports to engaging kids' clubs and nightly entertainment. The facilities were excellent, with multiple pools and diverse dining options. What truly stood out was the attentive and friendly staff, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, Lopesan provided the perfect balance of relaxation and fun for our family, and we can't wait to return.

This was my first Expedia booking for an all inclusive trip. I’ve stayed at numerous all inclusive resorts booking directly with the resort or American Airline Vacations. The resort itself is massive, beautiful scenery, and the rooms are really nice. The water park was plus for my niece and we had a blast. But….I booked an Ocean View King Jr Suite and was given a king room overlooking the resort. The Unique upgrade checkin was no help and put me on an airlift to transfer rooms, and told me none of their rooms are ocean view besides the Ocean Front rooms. They asked me to pay an insane amount extra per night to get into that room, and told me to contact Expedia for a voucher. I did manage to get transferred into a room 3.5 days into my stay to a room that was closer to the ocean and had somewhat of an ocean view from the balcony. The food at this resort was horrible. We were there for 7 days and only enjoyed 2 meals….the French restaurant and the Teppanyaki restaurant. The worst part of this resort is the staff. Almost every single staff member we encounter was rude, didn’t smile, and sometimes wouldn’t even say “hola” back. They were not welcoming at all. Our butler Victor was our savory in getting things we needed and getting things done for us. He was super nice and was always checking in on our day/stay. I would not recommend this resort based off price, staff, and food.

Very nice experience here. Overall we were pleased with the location, very good food overall. Knd of lacking of some ameneties. Night life there not with extended hours. The properly was really beautiful. The beach was good as well, well maintained without the seeweed. Overall a nice experience. Food experience also great variety of options.

I usually don't take the time to leave reviews but this resort was exceptional! First of the bracelet is so convenient to open the doors so you dont have to hold cards with you all the time. The app was very convenient, you could make reservations and see what is happening and info for the resort in real time. The food was great. We tried all of the restaurants except the steakhouse because our toddler was with us. The Gondola was the place we loved to have lunch; ceasar salad and the pizzas were delicious. The buffet had a variety of selections of everyone so anytime we would use it, we were satisfied. The rooms were tidied up daily (the floors were mopped every day). There is stuff for everyone to do; adults, teenagers, kids. It is a very child safe environment, so our stay with our toddler was so easy. There are many pools that you can find to work better for your family, one small and one big waterpark. My son loved it. There is also options for shopping and playing arcade and bowling. We also took advantage of the photographing services and were very satisfied. The staff is amazing and they love the kids, they are so polite. Defenitely try the ice cream cart in the buffet section. Drink wise the alcohol was very good quality and there are many options for people who dont drink. I genuinely can't wait to go back.

The Mexican food restaurant and the buffet are good. Daily room cleaning is so slow and no detail. The lady who worked in the pool for towels changed had really bad attitude. Over all a lot of workers don’t speak basic English. So it’s hard for communicate.

This is a large resort. Pool area is great with good service. The splash pad is missing a lot of foam tiles which was very unfortunate for our crawler as he scraped his knees the first day. The splash pad would be great if they fixed this. It is a bit difficult to get dining reservations- especially for greater than 2 people. If you want to try all the restaurants you may not get reservations for all of them and there is no waitlist/walk-in & wait option- it is reservation only. Rooms were very clean! Entertainment wasn’t the greatest so if that’s what you are looking for, I would choose a different resort. The seaweed was cleaned from the beach daily. The swimming area that is roped off is very small. It is lifeguarded and you cannot pass the ropes. Food was ok! I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. There was lots of selection. Room service took a very long time (we ordered it 3 times, scheduled ahead of time to have while baby naps) and it was over an hour late each time. We had a great vacation, and I have no real big complaints besides the splash pad, however I would not return to this resort again.

Great clean property with plenty of options a la carte. Buffet was also very good when camparing with other properties around Punta Cana. Appreciate the fact that the entertainment/party area is completly separate from the rooms area of the hotel, which provide fun when you wanted to and also peace and quiet when you wanted it. Shoutout to Choco and the entertainment crew and Papa John at Irani their Hibachi restaurant. Ive been to plenty, but none as fun and entertaining as Irani when hosted by Papa John !!!

On our last night we did not have electricity in our room and it did not get restored in a timely fashion. I had to complain to reception three times and we felt like they really didnt care. This was a total inconvenience because it was our last night and we only slept 3 hours before leaving for our flight.

This is the most boring hotel we have ever stayed in the DR with terrible customer service. There are only a few bars for many guests, and you must walk a lot to get a drink. There are no bar services at the pool or beach unless you are an elite customer, which makes you walk too much, while other hotels provide excellent services, and first of all, they never say NO when you ask them for anything. There were no parties at the pool or in the hotel; the disco was great, but people did not use it much, apparently; this is very rare in the DR, where people know how to party. Getting a reservation at the specialty restaurants was also a nightmare as they are always full, but when you went there, they have many empty tables. We felt like we were staying at a senior citizen retreat with expensive amenities. There was no live music at any time, which made us think that we did not even go to the DR, where people love to party and music. We stayed in the most expensive room with a pool, and the gardeners passed several times looking at us when we were inside the room, violating our privacy. We paid to have privacy, and despite that, we complained that the hotel manager did not care about it. The hotel staff was great, but management and supervisors must be better trained to satisfy customer complaints. It has been our most expensive and boring vacation in the DR in 25 years. It is also a large hotel; you must walk a lot, while other hotels provide gulf carts transportation for guests.

Mold in bedrooms on the pillows, shades, in the counches. Rooms are mopped but never dried in a high humid area nothing dries and soaks into the sheets, beds, furniture and creates mold. Multiple rooms were this way when trying to find a better room from maitnenance member at rhe hotel.

This property is visually stunning! The rooms, walkways, main areas, and pool/beach area are so beyond beautiful and well kept. The restaurants on the resort are also good - the Mediterranean one and the 18 steakhouse are definitely the best (reservations needed for all restaurants - made through the Lopesan app). Asian restaurant was not the best so I would skip that if we went back. Also can’t speak for the nightlife as we left the resort for that - but we wanted a beautiful and relaxing vacation and that is exactly what we got! Would definitely recommend!

This hotel is big and there’s no golf cart to move around, it has a lot of shops and activities for all ages. We were there as a huge group family vacation and it was amazing. The staff was extremely professional and nice

My friends and I stayed for 7 nights at Lopesan. All the staff at this resort were super friendly and welcoming! There are many restaurants but reservations were always full for the next 2-3 days so it was a bit difficult to dine at some restaurants.

The property was nice and clean. The food was amazing. We had to ask for our VIP benefits because they were not given. I didn’t like that some staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there. They had an attitude, even if you spoke Spanish. They would also talk among themselves and ignore you. This is not to summarize other staff who are friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Great people, great views, and great food.
