Rooms were clean. Food was really good. Pool was great. Beach was clean. I do wish they had better tequila options. Overall a great quiet place to come with your partner. Loved it here!

Everything was amazing - our room, the food, the staff. All were so helpful and nice. The complex is walkable, beach is steps away. Would definitly recommend this hotel and we would be glad to come back. Just a very simple recommendation - we used the hotel application, however it was hard to navigate where the activities will happen - like zumba, water gymnastik, etc. Booking for restourants wasn't easy too with the app - it always said there are no availability. And for NYE dinner - it would be good to have some nice music at the restourant.

This has been the worst resort I have visited in the 20 years I’ve been traveling to Punta Cana. It started with my butler (mayordomo), Robellin, whom I only saw on the day I arrived and never again. I was not provided with an orientation or a property tour, which made the stay feel disorganized from the beginning. That said, I truly feel sorry because there are staff members—Altagracia and Wilson at Serenade Punta Cana, as well as Alberto at the All Suites buffet—who showed genuine professionalism, experience, and care. They truly tried their best to make our vacation enjoyable, and thanks to their efforts, parts of our stay were better. Unfortunately, their excellent service is overshadowed by poor administration and the lack of consistency among other staff members. Because of this, I would not recommend this resort unless there is a significant change in management and leadership.

Over half the group who went came back sick from contaminated food/water. Bars had closed before they were supposed to, and several drink orders were wrong. I ordered a dirty martini and they gave me a cup of olive juice, completely forgot to put in alcohol. We also found inconsistent house keeping between the groups rooms. Some wouldn’t get fresh towels or drinks refilled, others had no issues.

This is definitely not a 5-star hotel — 3.5 at best. The rooms are outdated, and you can see the condition of the towels for yourself. The staff is rude. Every time a cocktail is made, it’s done with a visibly annoyed expression. Not all bartenders are like this, but unfortunately most of them are. The housekeeping staff is the same — constantly unhappy faces, even though we left tips. The food selection is very limited, although the food itself was tasty. There were cockroaches in the buffet area. I will never return to this hotel in my life. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

We stayed in jr swim up garden view room was very spacious but the sun was on the pool only in afternoon would consider pool view to have sun all day. Breakfast was only available at a buffet it was ok we chose to have omelets made. Koi restaurant hands down very good food. Steakhouse was ok. Authentic Dominican food buffet was really good! Really enjoyed adults only side! Weather was fabulous sunny in 80’s with a wonderful breeze passing shower one day short lived. We did see a few mosquitos but nothing that required bug spray. May learn to speak some Spanish as most staff only speaks Spanish very frustrating. Was not impressed with staff could count on one hand how many were friendly

We came here for our honeymoon! The resort itself is very nice! You have access to both Serenade resorts, which is a nice perk. The rooms were nice, but could use some improvement. If the rooms were a bit nicer I would have given the resort 5/5 stars. The light switches sometimes didn't work and we needed to press multiple times for the lights to come on. It was also annoying that the light for the room with the toilet was outside of the room - it was fine, just annoying haha. The TV sometimes didn't work that well, either, but for the most part it was okay. We had a swim up room and we LOVED it! Your own easy access to a little pool was so nice. It is a shared pool, but you kind of have your own space. We had the garden view, so we faced the trees. We loved that for the peace and quiet vs having a pool view facing the inner side of the resort. If you want to still sort of be a part of the excitement and everyone walking by, I would recommend the swim up room with a pool view. The lounge of the resort was beautiful! Comfy to sit and relax in. The buffet for dinner is where you want to be! I can't remember his name, I think Raniel? He was the one doing the stir fry - he was awesome! We LOVED that meal station. The steakhouse was also a huge hit! We had Myker for our server and he was fantastic. A plus that the food was DELICIOUS! The room service options are very limited and not always what you’re expecting. In general, this resort was great! Would recommend for a getaway!

The rooms were cleaned and stocked with amenities. The staff were excellent! From the front desk to the restaurants and bars. There was so much to do everyday and night. Plenty of activities and events. You truly don’t have to leave the resort. I loved everything about my experience at Serenade All Suites and I will definitely be going back. I love Luis and Omar! My two favorite guys!

Staff was not very welcoming, nor did they seem happy to be there, constantly out of towels for beach/pool, room service is not 24/7, bedroom sheets not changed and instead just remade bed with same sheets, occasions where there were no clean towels left in the room after service, TVs did not work properly, booked a couples’ massage that was cancelled by the spa due to no staff, reserved a master suite and the welcome gift was a small bag of peanuts and crackers, booked an excursion via an agency that roams the hotel’s private beach which was essentially a scam. It’s been two weeks since the return of our visit and still have not gotten the refund for the $250 massage we booked that was cancelled. Bars understaffed, drinks watered down, not much liveliness on the adults only side. Would never return to this establishment.

Not every staff was nice. Room is cold and humid/moist at the same time. I was placed in a room with a wet bed. Room service comes in your room even when you put do not disturb. They also will use your bathroom, the lady who used my friend’s toilet left blood on her seat. Golf cart transportation pick and choose when they want to escort you even during hours when they are supposed to. The beach is public meaning anyone can just come into the resort.

Our room was spotless as well as the reat of the hotel and the staff was so friendly and courteous! Especially Ruth! The amenities in the room were great and the beach was awesome! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that I felt the adult side had fewer specialty restaurants. But the food at the restaurants we had was outstanding!!!

Hotel has potential but needs to do a better job communicating with guests when they have issues. Multiple issues with hotel room when first arrived. Hotel is nice but needs to be better upkept for the price we paid for it. No water in room one day. There was no communication or response to why or to try to switch rooms to address this. Door of room in first room given looked like it had been broke into, super slow response to switch rooms. Took multiple calls/visits to desk upon arrival. Staff was pleasant throughout trip. The food choices never really changed. It wasn't bad but wasn't great either! We were there on New Years Eve and they did have a nice, unique menu at the buffet that day. This hotel wasn't horrible by any means but should never have an 8.0 relating on Expedia. We would give it a 6.0 mainly due to the poor upkeep of rooms and lack of communication when there were issues. If we had paid 1/2 of what we paid it would have been more appropriate in a value sense. We enjoyed our time there overall once we finally got things sorted out. They offered to give us upgraded status for free on a future trip but we decided that we would not stay again at the resort but did speak directly to the manager to commend a few staff members who where wonderful to us and to maybe help the resort to improve for future guests.

We stayed in the large two room suite that gave us elite status but we had problems right from the start. We got in late and our room was not at all where we had requested. Our adult children were supposed to be near us and they were on a completely different floor with a door in poor shape that ended up not even locking. With a low amount of staff there when we arrived at around 11 pm it was very difficult to get anything fixed. They finally moved our family to a different room that was an upgrade but it took about 3 hrs for that to be sorted out. They told us we could move the next day closer to our family but no options that night. Eventually the next day the elite coordinator helped us get on the same floor at least with our family and into a room with less problems. I'm not sure what would have happpened if we didn't have the elite status. The people at the hotel were very friendly overall and we encountered some great workers in the sports bar on the family side that made our trip more special. Having stayed at a different resort last year (but wanting a new experience) we would definitely say we were more disappointed in this resort. The food was ok.. the Brazilian steakhouse, Italian family side restaurant, breakfast at the buffet and the habachi were all pretty good (however not stellar). The regular buffets lacked variety day to day.. it was pretty much always the same foods no matter which you visited. Our favorite part were the excursions Claudio planned for us!
