“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

“We loved our stay at the Old Inn - rooms were nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Spa facilities etc were all beautiful and had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant was really good - lovely food, great service and attentive staff. Young waiter and waitress (I think called Leo and Sofie) both really friendly and helpful. “Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted.
Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“Albergo carino in zona porticciolo e comoda per il centro (market/fast food a poco distanza). Alcune camere sono proprio affacciate sul porticciolo , purtroppo la nostra dava vista tetti e non avevano altre disponibili. Le camere sono moderne ma piccoline quindi adatte e soggiorni dalla durata limitata. Bagni puliti e attrezzati con doccia. La colazione non l’abbiamo incusa nel nostro soggiorno per questioni di tempi e spostamenti, posso però dirvi che ha un costo aggiuntivo a persona di 6£.”

“I have stayed at Denvirs in Downpatrick before and it is wonderful. It dates from 1642 and Eoin, one of the staff can give you the history of the place. He is wonderful as well as the manager and all the staff. The food can't be beat either. A must stay in Downpatrick!”
