“The cottage was perfect in every way. The only slight negative is we thought it would be more private as it is very close to owner's home”

“Stay was peaceful. Front door could use blinds or curtains it was a little creepy at night. Hot tub had leaves and such it could have been cleaner. And firepit outside was not functional, out of propane or something and we didnt feel like dealing with it to ask about fixing it we just didnt spend as much time outdoors as we would have had it worked. Bed frame also moved a lot on the hardwoods very creaky. Needs a rug under it or more heavy frame. Overall good experience. ”

“The inside of the cabin is beautiful! Some of the pictures makes you believe you have access to the lake. You do not! It is owned by a camp ground and they have no choice words to make sure you know it and stay away. Keys are in a lock box but my communication said they would be under a mat. Never was communicated the code to the lock box until the owners mother happen to drive by. She seemed more surprised than I did that I hadn't been told. They claim the wifi operates without a password but...

“This is an absolutely terrific property with a beautiful view of grandfather Mountain and surrounding hills. We happen to be there on a foggy day and even so the view was very pretty when the mist were rising up and we could see. It was also rainy and yet we were very comfortable. The hot tub was very handy and also very nice for that kind of weather. The climb up the hill was pretty steep so make sure you’re comfortable with that but well worth a visit.
